As an ordained minister...i kind of have an idea..
A Trill and a Klingon got married on DS9 - Still a great moment in Trek history!
I have read about stories of true Trekkies getting married ethier in starfleet uniforms, or as klingons, Romulans, etc! Its totally insane but it is worth it! Showing their love for Star Trek.
Seeing Worf on DS9 reminds me of a kid in a new school with his new friends.
Klingons- For such a fearsome warrior race, they can be really romantic.
I actually came here planning to comment on that. As an old-fashioned warrior race, you would think the Klingons would be misogynistic as all hell. But in fact they are quite chivalrous : )
I dont know much about them, but from what I have seem about klingons, the women are also fighters so why would there be misogeny
@@ayseakbas111 I only meant at first glance. Once, you actually spend some time with them, you figure they are not sexist at all.
Passion and courage can be one and the same. You would want someone worthy to stand with you,to inherit strengths, and who is willing to fight for you.
I can only hope my own wedding has words this beautiful
How the heck did Season 1 of Discovery go from these Klingons to whatever appeared on screen?
Different cannon!
JJ and his minions are a weird mix of ego, arrogance, and incompetence.
That Klingon music is awesome.
I love this episode! Just after the Federation and the Klingons drove the Dominion and Cardassians from Deep space Nine, bringing much needed morale, Worf and Dax finnally get married Klingon style! Jazia went thru hell from General Martok's wife just to be accepted to her family. But, it was worth it!
🤔 It was Alexander that got the wedding started right away…so cool for everyone 😎
Give Alexander credit for arranging the wedding on DS9! Being there for his father meant a lot to him.
3:08 The look on Quark's face tho, that's "The Thousand Yard Stare of Grilka"
if ya know what i mean 😍
Probably my favourite scene in all of DS9 (which does offer some stiff competition). There's nothing I would change. It's just perfection. Deeply satisfying.
I wonder if the Picard crew was able to participate (even if we don't see them in the scene).
This is one amazing wedding imagine if somebody did this in real life that would be exciting
I want these vows for my wedding!
I never saw this episode. This is great.
Yes, there is no shame in crying manly tears of joy at such a scene.... *thumbs up*
I cried. Thanks. For the record you're at 306,444 views now.
She couldn't wait to get Worf's pain stick.
Worf. ...you're the luckiest man alive
I'd wondered how a Klingon wedding looked. I was very impressed ☺️
I read that the TNG cast were meant to appear in this scene, but only Jonathan Frakes and LeVar Burton were available.
Of the crew of the Enterprise, Worf was a little closer to Riker than the others. However, he has the utmost respect for Picard. It would have worked without some of the others, but not without Picard and Riker.
I refuse to accept that youtube videos now have "16 years ago" as their upload date. It is still 2008 I am sure of it.
