that last turn you hit for 8 with the 2 mastermind when the enemy is at 13 but his life actually goes to -1 somehow but you conceed as the damage hits, must be bugged right?
That’s happened to me if I remember right. It happened right when I conceded
I saw that, too. It really sucks that it happened to both of you.
Arena doubles the incoming damage if you concede at the right time.
Nice video as always. Just so you know at 21:00 you didn’t attack because you didn’t want to pay 1 for Angel of Tithes, but you only have to pay if the Angel is untapped (and at the time it was tapped). So you could have attacked without paying any mana. Just for future reference
You can kill so many people with "Insatiable avarice" by making them draw 3 and lose 3 life w/ shelly out. Going esper seems overkill for this strategy in mind. Can probably keep it as a dimir version.
I am most probably missing something. In the last game, when the 2 Master mind attacked, you surrender, losing the battle. However, the opponent goes to -1 life. Why is that?
cool deck, fyi though, you can attack without having to pay if the archangel of tithes is tapped. also its probably best to activate the loran on your own turn,before combat, if you have the prof's memory down, so you can get more counters off how many cards you've drawn.
Good video as always! I've been trying to make Vivien reanimator work before she rotates out in September, and I'm having a hard time. I then remembered that you were a big proponent of the deck, and I wanted to ask if you could take a crack at it.

I played against an Esper control build using Heliod with a lot of mill and removal. They kicked me around like there was no tomorrow, and I had to give it them on their creativity. When I lose to a deck I've never seen before, I can't be mad. It was actually really cool.
you could cut Tomik and add maybe two Teferis and may give Intimidation campaign a try
You might wanna rewatch that last one buddy. Watch their health when you conceeded.

"I could be forgetting about something here" at around the 20 minute mark had me laughing pretty hard. I knew you were planning to block but couldn't pay for it then Aurelia dropping on top of that was too funny.
I've been playing a Queza deck for a long time. It's funny that we each have the same idea, but outside of Queza, Loran is the only card we're both playing. I went with a Legends build with cards like Rona and Unctus which allows for double looting. Unctus also turns Gold-Forge Thopteryx into a better Smuggler's Copter. Toluz turns card neutrality into future card advantage.
I have a deck that revolves around Queza as the win-con but it relies on the Raven, pitiless carnage and step between worlds for mass card draw to one shot with queza. And since I’m playing raven I might as well play greeds gambit cuz what’s more fun than that.
