    I've been working on this deck a lot as well. For consistency, the key card for me was Analyze the Pollen. With Carnosaurs and Armadillos being cycled, 8 evidence isn't that difficult, and it fetches either the precise threat or the cavern of souls depending on the matchup, allowing you to trim down on both while keeping consistent draws.

      It's a law. Wizards starts them with one in hand like an emblem 😂
      It's the same way how black players always have Duress or bat without mulligan in post sideboard games (every time) 😂😂🤔

    What a surprise to see Jim's upload

    Good odds that they just let seeker come through but I would've swung out that last game just to see. Small chance to untap and hold up carnosaur discard.

    I got consistent ramp with the below version, the key seems to have 9 two drops instead of 7 (kellan being a 2 drop) and mulligan once to make sure I have one in the opening hand. however I don't have the cool spelunking/arid combo and in many game I run out of gas because the deck doesn't have the trailblazer.

    I do feel like a 1 of Titan of Industry either main deck or board could do a lot of work in this list.

    How does Arid Archway allow you to "keep hitting your land drops"? It's the exact opposite of that.

    • @cullenami
      @cullenami 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      it bounces a land back to your hand guaranteeing you make your land drop next turn.

      Yeah by itself it loses you tempo, but it's card advantage in the sense that it's worth 2 lands. If you find a good spot to fit it into the curve it helps hit your land drops, say your 6th land

      @@ClockworkEngineer It costs you mana sometimes, but it helps make land drops.
      Say you have a hand with 3 basic lands. You play a land on 1, land on 2, land on 3, and you don’t draw any lands. On turn 4, you still haven’t drawn a land, you miss your land drop. You now have 3 lands, 3 mana, and missed a land drop.
      Say the exact same scenario, but replace one of the basics with a bounce land. Play basic land on 1, play basic land on 2, play bounce land on 3. Now, you still haven’t drawn any lands, but because you bounced a land to your bounce land, you can play a land on turn 4, giving you 3 lands in play and 4 mana, and no missed land drops.
      There are drawbacks, yes, Field of Ruin effects hurt more, if you aren’t casting spells in addition to playing lands, you may have to discard a land to hand size, and it’s always possible it screws up your curve (in the scenario I described above, you can’t play a 3 drop on turn 3 with a bounce land). But in decks where you can minimize those downsides and want to go big (like this deck), it can be a very good effect, as it allows you to tap your land for mana, and then functionally play a tap land that draws you a land.

      @@ClockworkEngineer yes, it cost a turn but still makes sure you make your land drop.

    Loving these decks, but theres something I really don't understand. If the big score sheet was supposed to be a small aftermath set, why are they literally all mythics? I spend a decent chunk of cash on arena and still have no where near enough mythic wildcards to craft all of the good ones. This is pretty bad for the game if they continue this trend moving forward. I cannot play the decks I want to - even if I spend a decent chunk of $$.

    This looks so bad vs WU control. Like I see the advantages against most decks but not sure what it does against counters or stuff with instant speed wipes

      What instant speed wipes are you playing against? Cavern plus the spree card being instant speed seems good against control. The Rex also comes in post side
