@Igor Brandao dood your a huge help, I didn't even know I could shut the traction control off.. when I wheelie her I noticed my slide control light was coming on, that must be why she wouldn't keep the front wheel up! Is there a way to shut traction and slide off but keep lif on do you know?

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi friend! Glad you found the video useful. About your question, unfortunately no… LIF system depends on TCS to work, so you can only have LIF on if TCS is on.

Thanks for the vid. Great stuff. One question - The manual does mention that 'D' modes should not be changed while the vehicle is moving. Would you know if the same applies to the 'TCS' control, or is it possible to do this on the fly?

    •  ปีที่แล้ว +3

I read that as well on the manual, but haven’t tried changing neither TCS or D modes to not risk some silly damage… I suppose TCS should be ok to change while moving as it is less related to engine power output, but I wouldn’t risk it, as coming to a stop costs nothing to do

    • @Swisha90s

I dont think it will dmg anything, or i hope not. Cause ive been doing it xD When i ride highways i go mode 1, but when im pulling in to the city i change it to 3 cause it stops the twitchy throttle. So far so good :P

From what I recall, there is no way to change language on this bike, only units.

Be advised that the TCS must be turn off in case you find some off road. It happened to me once and keeping the TCS on, the rear wheel almost blocked and I was so little to fall from the bike.

    •  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Oh wow, glad you managed to keep the shiny side up! But a torquey monster like the MT09 with street tires on dirt road is really sketchy, especially because the assists weren’t designed for such conditions.

Brilliant showing how to alter the settings, just one question when you have put the required settings in, do they control options 1234, or are they only working on the M setting

    •  ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Andy, thanks! To answer your question, the menu selections you make only apply to the M setting. 1, 2, 3 and 4 are factory presets built-in the ECU and while from the dashboard you can't change them, tuners when flashing can change those. Ride safe!

TCS 2 is every setting on level two not maximum. To put everything on level three you would have to do so within the menu and set that as your manual mode.

You can pull a fuse to eliminate abs

    •  หลายเดือนก่อน

Yes but doing so on this bike makes you lose other of things besides ABS like wheelie control and even traction control. Good if you're an experienced rider, very bad otherwise lol!

  • @RowdyMornings
    @RowdyMornings 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Does this process secretly turn off ABS? Have you tested your bike with the OFF setting?

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Yeah, I have tested it and while it allows for full throttle control and nice balance point wheelies, no, it does not turn off ABS.

Does your motogadget mirrors vibrate above 40mph and or when accelerating? Thanks in advance.

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi Christopher! They do vibrate, but only on highway speeds (70mph+) and that is because I had to mod the bar end adapters so it could fit on this bike. I believe that if I could have fit the adapters as they come, they would not vibrate at all.
And even with the vibration, its is not to the point where you can’t see anything on them, so overall very good mirrors!

    • @AndreiOBK

    •  หลายเดือนก่อน

Because I never seen the standard screen I don't have an opinion, but if its really noticeable I would take it to a dealer and put it side by side with another unit to know for sure! Maybe your screen came defective from factory or something...

The color on my 2021 SP screen is only green. It’s never white or orange. What am I missing. I’m going to turn the color off and on to see if that helps. Maybe set the shift points. 🤷🏽‍♂️

When you have the taco color in off,it remains green all the way, most white.

Hi, quick question. Powerwheelies possible with TCS 1 SCS 1 and LIF 1? I dont really understand, how the Modes affect the Nature of the Bike. Wheelies for Example. Just wondering.

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

Hi Paddy, that’s a great question! I have yet to do more testing to confirm this for sure, but from what I tried so far, LIF has to be off for any decent wheelies… when LIF is on 1, it does allow the front to raise a bit (around 10 inches from the ground) but that is it. When you set it to 2, it doesn’t affect the wheelie height but how fast it happens - it goes up smoother on 2 and quicker on 1, and when its on 3, the front wheel doesn’t come up at all.
TCS just affects traction, so as long as your rear tire doesn’t slip, power wheelies are possible on all settings, but clutch ups only work when its off.
SCS is just tank slapper control. When it detects the front tire is starting to wobble, it kills a bit of power until it stabilizes again. So even with LIF off, if SCS is on, you can’t wheelie at all as well

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

this 1 mod , have an impact at your driving ? you know , 1 mod keep you on kind of train rails ?? !
Cause averybody said how playful is the Tracer 900 and Mt09 ,but when i ride it , i didnt find it playful at all .
Now... this conclusion is falty cause the bike was set at mod 1 ??????

    •  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

Mode 1 is supposed to be the one that the accelerator is the most aggressive, and I think that is what folks think is playful about the bike. If you feel its not, try riding with mode 1 and all assists disabled. That is sure to get your blood flowing 😂

  • @PureEvolution

SCS control is nothing to do with wheely or lift its for slide control on how much it will let you get back wheel out of aligment before it pulls power
