Awesome flight and the bird sounds great. The part “open and close the landing gear!” during flight is always fun! Fantastic zooming. Too bad you lost a main landing gear cover during landing because you didn’t flare enough, but hey, yes, that’s difficult especially in a maiden flight! Thanks again Captain Blaž & Pilot Robert. We know now that the landing gear is great and that we can takeoff from grass runway. Cant wait for the second flight. And I have already removed the second cover from the wheels. Hey Andrej. Hvala. Res je lep, da je težko opisati z besedami in leti fantastično. Če pa že govoriva o jetih, Vampir je res prekrasen letalec. Sem zdrobil dva, vendar sem se naučil leteti tega čudovitega ptiča. Res lepo leti edino kar moraš paziti je hitrost v zavojih. Če ne bo dovolj velika ti ga bo samo obrnilo navzdol in bo konec. Če te pa zanima imam enega Viper Jeta doma, 75mm in gre na 2700mAh 6S. Fiksno podvozje samo trije leti, kot nov. Tornado 75. Lahko pogledaš posnetke leta. Ga dam za 70€. Maybe you're flying a bit differently now but I humbly suggest that when you're on landing approach gradually REDUCE throttle until you touchdown then reduce to zero. As you saw in this vid, you were only about a foot above the ground but the plane pretty much smacked down on the grass. Resist the urge to completely cut throttle on these edf's before you touch down.
I just saw you have a Citroen Picasso car. Wow, I used to have that car. its one of the best car to carry RC planes. lots of space and very comfortable to drive. :) Now I have a Citroen C5 Aircross SUV but not as spacious as Picasso. I miss my Picasso. now for the video, that jet looks awesome man. almost perfect landing with hell out of the zoom shot by your brother
Oh yeah A. Captain Blaž loves that car. And somethimes he drives planes on the roof ;-) And this bird is really great. I just cant remember that it nees some speed to land. I had Picasso for 4 years. I loved the car so much. I drove it a lot in China. it was one of the best. Then I sold it and got a Nissan. it was a guzzler with V6 3.5L. Sold it, moved to Dubai, and during two years of stay in Dubai, I Bought and Drove Ford Ranger Wildtrack High Rider, Ford F150 FX4, Ford Expedition, Land Rover, and Suzuki Jimny. :D Now I am back to French cars and driving a Citroen C5 Aircross. But Picasso was my best favorite car. I wanted to get the new model Grand Picasso, but they discontinued in China :( I was sad. so I went with C5 Aircross. Its a very nice SUV, but the space Picasso had to carry RC Planes, it was best. Of course can't compare it with Ford F150 FX4 truck because it was a pickup and has a huge bed to carry stuff. Expedition was a like a train too LOL. Still miss my Picasso.

I think I will watch all your videos during my holiday! The most entertainment in ages. Can I please say that it is worth doing some small changes to this model to make it easier to take off from grass. I took off from 30 metres of grass strip a couple of days ago.First thing is shorten main oleos so model is nose up on ground.Second is increase length of flaps by cutting short ailerons and using that section as part of flap( one third greater flap length). This is a great model for sure.

I have spended by now at least 40.000$ so we can post videos and somethimes I just start to wonder why... Awesome flight and the bird sounds great. The part “open and close the landing gear!” during flight is always fun! Fantastic zooming. Thanks Louis. It was awesome flight. Iam not proud of the landing but the bird survived and we did a great test with it. We know now that the landing gear is great and that we can takeoff from grass runway. Cant wait for the second flight. And I have already removed the second cover from the wheels. Hey Andrej. Hvala. Res je lep, da je težko opisati z besedami in leti fantastično. Če pa že govoriva o jetih, Vampir je res prekrasen letalec. Sem zdrobil dva, vendar sem se naučil leteti tega čudovitega ptiča. Res lepo leti edino kar moraš paziti je hitrost v zavojih. Če ne bo dovolj velika ti ga bo samo obrnilo navzdol in bo konec. Če te pa zanima imam enega Viper Jeta doma, 75mm in gre na 2700mAh 6S. Fiksno podvozje samo trije leti, kot nov. Tornado 75. Lahko pogledaš posnetke leta. Ga dam za 70€. Leti prekrasno in zvok je fantastičen. Oh yeah... Hvala za obisk pa se vidimo prijatelj, Robert

We just turn on the camera and what ever happened...
Maybe you're flying a bit differently now but I humbly suggest that when you're on landing approach gradually REDUCE throttle until you touchdown then reduce to zero. As you saw in this vid, you were only about a foot above the ground but the plane pretty much smacked down on the grass. Resist the urge to completely cut throttle on these edf's before you touch down.
I just saw you have a Citroen Picasso car. Wow, I used to have that car. its one of the best car to carry RC planes. lots of space and very comfortable to drive. :) Now I have a Citroen C5 Aircross SUV but not as spacious as Picasso. I miss my Picasso. now for the video, that jet looks awesome man. almost perfect landing with hell out of the zoom shot by your brother
Oh yeah A. Captain Blaž loves that car. And somethimes he drives planes on the roof ;-) And this bird is really great. I just cant remember that it nees some speed to land. I had Picasso for 4 years. I loved the car so much. I drove it a lot in China. it was one of the best. Then I sold it and got a Nissan. it was a guzzler with V6 3.5L. Sold it, moved to Dubai, and during two years of stay in Dubai, I Bought and Drove Ford Ranger Wildtrack High Rider, Ford F150 FX4, Ford Expedition, Land Rover, and Suzuki Jimny. :D
Now I am back to French cars and driving a Citroen C5 Aircross. But Picasso was my best favorite car. I wanted to get the new model Grand Picasso, but they discontinued in China :( I was sad. so I went with C5 Aircross. Its a very nice SUV, but the space Picasso had to carry RC Planes, it was best. Of course can't compare it with Ford F150 FX4 truck because it was a pickup and has a huge bed to carry stuff. Expedition was a like a train too LOL. Still miss my Picasso.

I think I will watch all your videos during my holiday! The most entertainment in ages. Can I please say that it is worth doing some small changes to this model to make it easier to take off from grass. I took off from 30 metres of grass strip a couple of days ago.First thing is shorten main oleos so model is nose up on ground.Second is increase length of flaps by cutting short ailerons and using that section as part of flap( one third greater flap length). This is a great model for sure.
