People seem to overreact on how "broken" Sunset B-site is. As much as people want to believe that Sunset is B-site only, the statistics doesn't really show that the site is "that" broken. You can see on the other comments that the site is defense sided. Sure, the spam-fest is annoying, but you can still plan around shutting down the site or forcing a non-ideal plant. For example, Cypher is really strong on holding B. Except the "not-ideal" B-site (exaggerated imo), Sunset is one of the better maps right now. You compare it to Icebox A that "can't be defended", that you can only plan to retake and it becomes a 5 second duel every time, it's not even close.
Of course it's split going out and not the map that received TWO minimal changes and didn't change how to approach the map at all! I'm so glad the devs don't understand how bad Icebox is :)
Exactly! Say what you want about Breeze but even when Riot reopened Halls (which was such a dumb move) Breeze still has more changes done to its map than Icebox had after being out of rotation for a year! A is clearly the problem site, and they gotta do something to fix it!
I would genuinely rather watch 5 games of breeze before watching a game of icebox. Breeze isn't too fun to play but at least watching it in pro play is refreshing
I kinda just think part of this is the absence of raze and jet as well. Neither team has a chaotic duelist to disrupt anything and because of that Reyna is allowed to play forward and there’s no punish and G2 was lacking a kayo to shut down Molly spam or the Reyna flashes.

What do we do?" "Yeah we know so lets change B main and put a window in the mid tube" Like wtf I feel like its been a problem since 2021 even and now a team is running it back comp-wise and its obviously the same stuff.
funnily enough me and my friends found a similar comp when clove was released which had Cypher, Clove, Omen, Brim, Yoru on sunset and the enemies just couldnt adapt to the smokes
