- Pretty clear I love muscle cars and although, as I've mentioned numerous times, I prefer 60's and 70's Mopars, can't deny Ford/Shelby's have killer releases. This is one of them.
Shelby's designs, especially their front fascias, have always fascinated me. Their aggressive look is always excellent and the eye-catching color of this one gained my attention. Also, seemed like nice tooling and convertible as well.
Check the review to see if I like it and how I rated it. (or you can of course "cheat" and go to the end to see my Summary lol)

I have one of the Lane GT500KRs in Lime Metallic. Quality wise, maybe one of the best cars in my collection. I was very happy to see Acme making use of and expanding this tooling.
Just searched for that Lime color, looks damn cool! And it sure turned out great. Let's see what other variations Acme does after this and the black one.
Great looking model bro👍😊
It's awesome! Thanks!
I believe an Exact Detail fastback mold was used for this diecast. But it's now a convertible, so major new tooling was involved. Impressive. The tyres may be oversized, but at least they do look like inflated rubber. I don't mind the roll bar. A quality model for sure. Once again, thanks for your review.
Yeah, I think you are right. The end result was excellent. Thanks for watching! 😊💪
thats the most they have made of a single model in a long time!
Yeah, I don't think I had seen such high a number from them. Maybe they thought they'd sell a bunch of these and really, I hope they do!
Hello. Again an amazing release from ACME. The engine with all the details looks really good.
I also prefer Mopars, but this Shelby is a nice one.
Last time we talked about Auto World/ERTL authentics. Today I bought another 1:18 Auto World Charger. Again from 1971 and a again with much features and details like the blue 1971 Dodge Charger R/T Hemi from Auto World.
My new one is a 1:18 Auto World 1971 Dodge Charger R/T 440 Six Pack in gold/black (AMM1086).
The difference on this one compared to the blue one:
- wheels in chrome
- different colour (gold and black)
- different engine (440 Six Pack)
- different hood (no air grabber)
- different front with more chrome and the pop-up headlights
- interior in black
I only found this one to buy. Here in Germany it is hard to get models like this, which are a few years old. I am now excited to hold this model soon in my hands.
Best regards Chris
Yeah, and they will be harder to find as years pass, so hold on to them.
@@DiecastNewb Oh yes. For sure. I buy now these premium 1:18 Auto World muscle cars to keep them. For protection I bought now three 1:18 model car acrylic display case with a leather base in black. The other car models are in my showcase
