This was great the only thing I was hoping to see again was the nitpicking section the nitpicks always interested me and some of them even made me laugh uncontrollably, but over all the was GOAT 🐐

Another bad thing: Treyarchs design philosophy when it comes to balance. They insist on nerfing several of the good guns, like the Gallo, M16 and raygun, and ignore guns that desperately need buffs like the M82 and some of the D.I.E variants
Explosives also could use some form of PHD with Armor or something because doing half your health with Tier 3 Jugg is a little bit outrageous
@@tachankathechub4727 yeah, but PHD is apparently coming as a dlc perk, so hopefully that will fix it. Just sucks we have to wait for it
I don't understand the concept of nerfing a weapon in a PvE game mode, who the hell does that benefit? Who gives a damn, it's PvE, I'm not hurting the Zombies feelings if I use the meta.
They nerfed the SPAS? I've been using it since launch and it feels great like it always has been
@@MemeNabber I think it was mostly a multiplayer nerf that carried over to zombies, they lowered the fire rate and shortened the range. Still among the better guns, though

The manglers have actual weak points to target and destroy unlike the armored zombies, so I think that makes them better

Edit: i wish you went more indepth with the story quotes, with a personal favorite being how grey and carver will make comments on the nova 5 gas, questioning its lethality to humans, while strauss will explain that nova 5 isn't lethal to humans, nice touch!
They should make it to where everytime you craft a self revive, the price goes up by a substantial amount. This way you can't just keep buying self revives forever.

I want to give a quick, small compliment to one facet I love about your videos: the way you integrate various details about the editing process neatly into the gameplay itself. Back in the WW2 season, you'd make jokes in the form of achievements, with the sound effects and everything. In this, you've included song titles and credits in Cold War's graphical style. It's those little touches that I've always appreciated so much about your videos, and I'm glad to see that you continue to take the time to do things like that. Take care, Rizzo. Glad that your channel's back, and here's to many more vids in the future.

I know Rizzo wasnt happy with the IW retrospective video, and thus took it down, but damn. It was one of my favorites to have playing in the background while playing
all they had to do to fix the character issue is just have the voice actors say something stupid in reaction to the easter eggs. like just get Woods to go "woahhhhhh decontamination agent thats based" and have them all react to things like the box with more than just "hmm yes thats a ray gun pretty futuristic." like have adler crack a joke about his ex wife like he did in the campaign. that would give a lot of personality to the map and operators.

Honestly that fanfic sounds like it could come true. We see in the fire base Z poster that Sam has aether attached to her, as well as the fact she was pulled through an aether portal makes me feel like she’ll find out what happened. What better way to turn an agent then to remind them of all the pain they went through and hammer it in? Whether it ends the way you wrote I don’t know though
She knows what happened in the old aether she straight up says in the first intro "It's happening again" she def knows about the past multiverse

one of the only people worth watching when it comes to cod zombies content, you're several leagues above the rest and its criminal that you still have below 100k subscribers.
So happy this is finally out, and you did such a good job on it! I can agree with basically every point you've made, especially with the freedom of movement and the negative of the Plaguehound's jump. All this being said, I'm incredibly hype for Firebase Z as every area and aspect they showed off in the trailer made me more and more excited. One thing that stood out to me was incredibly simple - the variety and verticality of the area displayed at approximately 44 seconds in to 48 seconds in. It looks like you'd be able to be up on those rooftop balconies along with street level and that simple idea (which seems very unremarkable) nails a vibe I really want to have in Zombies - the vibe that the world feels real and lived in, and the variety of someone down on street level fighting zombies while someone on the roofs is in their own fight is something I love, that being that there's people in their own places dealing with their own situations at the same time. Black Ops 2's Broken Earth attempted to tackle these vibes and situations, but the main time it really gets that personal itch is the little lore tidbit that Misty and Marlton were off doing their own thing and surviving, before crossing paths with Stu and Russ. Simple things like that, the chaos of being in different areas yet having a kindred fight is so exciting to me and the variety through verticality is something I've wanted them to do justice to since Die Rise.

In defense of the of the new HUD, the kill/point list I actually enjoy quite a bit. My main reason being that it shows every (including the vast array of new ones) point gain you get, with their specific amounts and source. And to no surprise, being the point hoarder I am (unless I'm using Healing Aura for co-op), I'm usually running Ring of Fire and Stun Grenades to get the most points per kill with melee/crits.

6:30 man it was so cool on day one when I jumped towards the truck in the pond area and I actually mantled onto it. I was really surprised, I'm glad they did that
Although the core gameplay mechanics are pretty great, I feel like there are more negatives that could be mentioned.
The fact you can't change the attachments of any of the weapons outside your loadout weapon, combined with the fact the box probably isn't gonna give you a higher rarity for a while so you will still have to spend a ton of high grade salvage to upgrade it, greatly disincentivizes using anything outside of your loadout weapon for a long time, especially when the increased salvage drop rates and increased reserve ammo attachments are extremely helpful.
While not too big of an issue right now, the perk prices do not make any sense. This will become a huge problem if they don't change the way the system works once they add an extensive lineup of perks to every map. I think it makes much more sense to give each perk a base price (example: jug starts out at 2,500) and then lower the added price for the number you have. It's stupid that I pay 5k for fucking elemental pop every game and stupid that the good perks are just as cheap as the bad ones early game.
I also feel like it costs a little too many points to double and triple pack (10k and 20k would probably be a lot better), and the same deal with the amount of high grade salvage it takes to upgrade a gun to legendary (750 would be fine).
And lastly the point system still sucks and is even worse in practice than it was in BO4. Although I do appreciate the fact that headshots are the same amount of points as a melee kill (meleeing gets really boring), the fact that you still don't get any points for every individual hit sucks and can create some huge problems when combined with the absolutely insane prices for pack a punch and buying perks. Lets say you go down and lose all your guns and perks at even round 20. You spawn back in with your now absolutely terrible loadout weapon, and since you only get points for kills you will barely make a profit using that since you barely get any kills before having to buy more ammo. Wanna get another gun? You can buy an overpriced wall weapon that isn't too much better since it's also unpacked or try your luck at the box and hope you don't get stuck with dogshit. Your best bet is using every equipment you pick up or buying a ton of equipment, but you'll probably run out of salvage fast if you're at a decently high round. At least in BO4 you could get just enough kills to fill your specialist and then get a bunch of points with that. The point system and overpriced pack a punching also makes it a pain in the ass to hit the box at higher rounds because your gun will be terrible and barely be able to get points even if its legendary until you put a boat load of cash into it to multipack.
There obviously needs to be punishment for going down in zombies, but the overpriced nature of this game and how hard it is to get points without a well upgraded gun makes it so obnoxiously oppressive to the point where I would rather just quit a game I'm playing with my friends, which is not a good look at all...

I think the point system hurts this map a lot imo.
theres nothing to do early game other than get points so im usually in spawn until round 8 or 9 EVERY GAME, just to buy all the doors.
other maps have insentives for me to open up areas as fast as i can such as starting a step to a weapon or EE early or to pick up something but in this map there is nothing to do before turning on the power so I feel restricted early game.
The entire mode plays like a multiplayer mode.

@@andreyu5640 I don't really care about the multiplayerification as rizzo put it, but I do agree that the atmosphere of the map (visuals and soundtrack) itself is pretty average
About the "going down at round 20 and being stuck with your loadout weapon" point, when you respawn at those rounds, you get like 15000 points so recovering is actually fairly easy
@@ijneb1248 I honestly didn't even remember that, but still 15k would get you everything you need in previous titles but in this game you can upgrade your gun once which will still be terrible and get a couple perks.

13:13 Yes it's a mess. However, it is also useful to know the information since the zombies have become bullet sponges. Also, you can always turn it off in the settings.
