HI I Follow you video but handle on door not come off 01 hrv 5 door the long metal pole still attached at back of handle dont want to break any idea how to get off please it cobbected with round plastic bit

2001 year i got off but pulled whole handle out of 3 holes now problem putting door card back on can out handle back in 3 holes ok working but when try put door card with handle, whole handle pulled through correct side not reach 3 holes, cant really see how you just unclip part of the door handle as would help if could do that way maybe, do you have to unclip anything rod or something please?
