Just curious where you get your info from. Does the dealer have instructions like a shop manual already available or is this just experience from past models like the crv that may be similar? I would like to see the rear hatch penal be removed if you have that.
DIYHonda I kind of figured so no official diagrams then huh. Will you be doing the rear hatch ever on the HRV. I'm trying to remove the rear plastic panel to hook up Honda vezel led tube rear lights. They Will be powered by the licence plate lights. I'm sure yanking is involved in the same way you did the door panel but where to yank without breaking anything is my worry.
I will work on making that video. In the mean time if you want to attempt it it not very hard. You have to remove all of trim pieces on the back in order to get the main large trim off. Starting with the skinny middle piece in the front. Get your fingers behind it and pull it off. Same with the two sides and the main large back piece.

Usually its knowledge of previous models combined with trial and error.
