Such a beaut.. pls dear, I have a question not necessarily related to the video but regarding the pgwp in Canada. I’ll like to know, if someone comes for a one year study program, is it after the studies that they’ll be issued a one year work permit ? Or is the one year work permit given along side the student visa to allow to work while you study?
Hi neka love your videos ♥️but I wanted to know if when u land in Canada within you first week can u rent an apartment.And do u also think as a new international student it’s advisable to say in a dorm or rent your own place please give an opinion
So now as a PR. You would still have to keep renewing your passport right? So that it is valid at all times of your stay.
Lastly, did you get any stamps on your passport again when your PR application was approved? Since you were already in Canada.

Hi Nneka. Does this mean if I want to travel to Nigeria during my study, I still have to get a TRV to get back into the country.?
Note: my study permit is still going to be valid during the period of my travel.
A valid study permit or work permit is not a visa. So though you might have a valid study permit, you’d need a visa to get back into Canada if you decide to travel out.
If the initial visa you used to get into the country is still valid and hasn’t expired, you don’t need to apply for a TRV.

Thank you for your sharing. I’m planning to go travelling outside Canada in next month and my visa was expired. Do you think before I come back Canada, can I apply for a new visa outside (my work permit will be expired next year). I really want to apply now in Canada. However, I don’t think I will get visa next month before I leave.
Hmmm.
I think you should apply TODAY! You might be really lucky with the processing time and you would be granted your TRV before you leave.
I’d strongly advice not to leave canada without it.

Good job - please quick question, i am applying for a visitor visa for my parents to come attend my graduation. Do you know if they will need to do a medical exam despite they will be staying in Canada for less than one week? I am not clear about this area.

On the cic website, it states that If you plan to stay In canada for 6months or less you DO NOT need a medical exam done.
So I don’t think your parents would need one. I hope this helps

Do you know whether "I can be given a 3 years post graduate work permit because I did a 1 year *Master degree* and not a 1 year diploma" or all programs get the respective amount years of post graduate work permit Irregardless of the type of program you did.

Yes , you can totally apply for just the tourist visa it's just that the other 2 and the visitor visa are in the same category because they are permanent

@@Dujaa_ yes you can apply for TRV( also known as visitor visa ) without a work permit or student permit , and when I said they fall in the same category it's because when you want to apply for Trv you will see the Trv( akavisitor visa ) study permit and work permit then you just pick the visa you are looking for I hope you understand better now
