  • Back again filming White Water Center for some reason... Anyway, I'm thinking about doing another Charlotte Trail Rankings Series with all of the changes happening here in Charlotte. There will be a ton of movement with all of the builders doing their thing in the area!
If you want another Charlotte Series, make sure to like and comment your favorite trail here!
All of south main and south main loops, East Main and tributary in the video!

Would love to see another series. Poston is still my favorite!

I'm for you running back another ranking series! Fellow Charlottean admiring your ability to not put a foot down on that carpet, or goat hill switch backs. Cheers!

Would like to see a 2024 trail rankings. I haven’t been able to get there to ride yet but favorite trail on this video was carpet.

Moving to Charlotte from SoCal where I'm used to steep, fast, chunky, and jumpy enduro and downhill. Looking forward to exploring the area and the new (more XCish) type of riding. Wife and I visited this past weekend and i rode Mountain Creek Park north of Lake Norman on my Turbo Levo. Had one decent jump line and some other flowy trails but not bad. Scenario is amazing here, super green vs super dry and brown haha.

Wait till they finish up Rocky Branch and then do ghe updated list! But yes let's get a new ranking for 2024 that would be sick.

This video sums up the WWC pretty well. It has roughly 15 min of fun in the 50 miles of yawn.
Actually, East and South Main and Tributary are decent.

Airline is my favorite so far. Dig your series, bring on the update

Does this imply WWC would be last place 😅. Imo hard to beat 42 miles, but I understand. Either way the original series was helpful for me orienteering myself with Charlotte, but so much has changed. Please include Southwest District Park!

They rake in oodles of money yearly and get absolutely out worked by a lot of other trails in charlotte with way less of a budget. so much potential. I just got into biking last year and thats where I started out at. But after going all over charlotte, I have a different opinion of those trails now 🤣

If you re-do the Series I bet rocky branch is about to jump up a lot lol, as for this place, it sucks. 20$ parking paywall for some mediocre XC, downright criminal. Do the right thing and put the WWC in last place lol

So I'll be in Charlotte this weekend visiting some of my wife's friends and will be headed out to ride a few times while up there... I just recently got back into riding and switched more over to the enduro/freeride side from XC. I am looking for some trail suggestions for an intermediate rider. I love fast flowy trails, downhill, chunk, and small drops and jumps. Not as comfortable with big jumps and gaps yet so wanting to avoid any huge features or suggestions that have alt lines. Any help is appreciated!

Cedar Valley, Airline, or the Spencer Mountain loops at George Poston Park are probably your best bet. I have a group going to Beech Mountain for some DH on Sunday too if you’d be interested in that.

      @@CarolinaMTB thanks for the suggestions!
Ideally I would like to hit up a real downhill park but don’t think I’ll have the time to swing that far away. But will be making plans for a trip up to Beech Mtn, Berm Park or Jarrod’s in GA hopefully soon.
