- My name is Laurie and I dropped city life for a simple farm life in the Bulgarian Mountains. I literally woke up one morning and realized NYC wasn’t for me. I booked a ticket (the same day), packed a little suitcase and moved to a teeny-tiny Bulgarian village- lost in time. And when I say lost in time I mean lost-in-time. No time crunching jobs, no watching the clock, hardly any internet service at all really. Imagine a village from the Middle Ages… that’s pretty much what you get here. And I’m loving every second of it!

@@sistersofbulgaria9396I love animals and all living things too. So much that I no longer eat meats or seafoods. My Bulgarian relatives, acquaintances and even a doctor there think I’m nuts…But, they not only eat lots of fat with their meat but they all smoke cigarettes…Your little goats are incredibly cute. Thanks for sharing.You are so right about animals too! It shows what a very intelligent and that you observe, learn and understand. Yes, they all do have their own personalities.
Good for you! I wish I could learn to eat vegetarian but as crazy as it sounds I get physical sick when I don’t eat at least a little meat. I even went to doctors about it and they said I am a person who has the need for a protein based diet. I know there are other ways to get protein but for now I still eat meat. My way of loving animals is taking care, loving them and treating them with respect so that they live happy lives. I find it very admirable that you were able to give up all meats! Another amazing thing I learned about you today 😊

Standing her up was the right thing for contracted tendons, also you can make a DIY splint for when you're not there to stand her up 😊
The highly bred sheep here in the UK are stoopid and the latest breeding deformity is that they're bred for wide backs, giving more meat, and if they roll over they can't get back up again.

How horrible to hear about those poor goats… people’s greed really has no limits. How can they breed such a mix when it’s clear the animals are tortured… I get overwhelmed thinking about these things. I love animals so much and just wish more people would value the lives of animals the way they do their own.
@@sistersofbulgaria9396 The funny thing is, that I learnt about it when I was a child from reading James Herriot's books about his life as a vet - I've absolutely no practical knowledge! 😁
