I know the feeling of valley trees and winter not tried a solar ove but still you only work in certain parts of the garden at a time as the sun dips and dances with the trees in winter
This was one of the better ones, but yes still not a cheap purchase. I see people way more handy than us do self builds and with the simplicity of the concept they get good results.
Hi Rachel my DH would love a weather station like you have can you tell me where you got it from and what make and model you have oh and most importantly are you happy with it TIA
I just did a check and the one we have is an OZWeather one. We have gone through 3 $99 other brand ones before hubby got this one. The rain and wind never worked on those. But this one we have had about a year now and so far so good 😀
Thanks Rach very interesting
Was that puffing Billy’s whistle I heard at the start.
Thanks
Hehe. It most certainly was Jenny 🚂

Oh yes... over time on a valley property, you do learn that dip and dance well to work in where we can.
Looks yummy, I've often thought of getting a solar oven but they are so expensive.

Could l ask where did you get the solarcooker from? @@Bush_Edge_Homesteading_Aus
You can also look for used ones
@SolarCookingGermany sadly here in Australia, even new ones are very rare. I have never seen a second-hand one.
@helenabaier7823 Hi Helen, this was purchased through a lady called Helen who sells them here in Australia. Her company is called WONSO.
