”Oh, Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling…..” But then they always do when Jonathan plays.
Yes, nice shot at that point!
[i always think, at that line, of two bagpipers - both called Glen - on a hillside.]
Great irish song and amazing organist ! ☘️🍀☘️🍀
Joan was a friend. A lovely tribute. She spoke so highly of you and your talent.
Wow, this performance is just as good as performed in the best British movie ever: Brassed Off
Dios ❤❤❤JESUS 😢😢😊😊
Mr Scott, your performance of this magical tune actually made me shed a tear, which is very rare in me. Thank you!
I always cry when I hear this song.
What a beautiful tribute to your friend Joan. This song always brings a tear to my eye. What a moving rendition. Also, I love the shot of the stain glass window of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The way the light plays through the moving leaves. Very effective.
Beautiful, simply beautiful...tears in this old man's eyes. Thank you both so much ❤!
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing!
The last time I was in No. Ireland was for the funeral of a family member, (Omagh, County Tyrone). Everything about this recording is magical, even if it is so sad. I want to choke up. The sound, imagery and tenderness you two displayed won't be forgotten. I'm sorry you lost your dear friend. Thank you.
I love that song, oh Danny’s boy, Joan Erhard’s.
😢😂🎉 😢 😮😅😊
A beautiful arrangement, Jonathan, & a fitting tribute to your late dear friend. I hope the audience heard that piece in your concert it must have been amazing live! Bravo Tom, as always, for the audio/video. 🙂
Thank you!

Tremendous.
Lovely instrument. Absolutely inspired arrangement and registration. You keep knocking them out of the park, Jonathan. This is an old favourite and I've probably heard every arrangement going. This is without doubt the best. Thank you both for this performance.
My God! This song is very beautiful and very sad too! I felt like crying! It's a beautiful, sweet and unforgettable tribute to a loved one!
Thank you both for showing us this very moving video!
Beautiful playing!
Beautiful and so sweet sound.
Beautiful, simply beautiful!
감사합니다. 아름다운 영상이네요❤
Fantastic arrangement and so movingly registered and played 👏👏👏👏👏
What a beautiful version of Danny Boy. So sad to hear about Joan, I used to enjoy reading her comments on your videos. She obviously enjoyed all your performances. Appropriate music for me too today as I'm feeling a little melancholy, we had our father's funeral today. He was a great lover of classical music & particularly organ music. I know my parents both went to organ concerts together. It must be in the genes!! Thank you both for this beautiful video, the stained glass was amazing. xx
That is absolutely wonderful and divine. 🎼🙏
Beautiful really moved me and sorry to here about your friend Tom and Jonathan!

The best version of my Mom's favourite song I've ever heard!! Well done. I've decided that this is the song to be played on my funeral one day!
Absolutely beautiful organ and beautiful playing!
A fine arrangement and rendition of Danny Boy on the "Elgar" Organ. Sensitive visual aspects blending well from Tom. Thank you both. Sorry to hear that Joan Metcalfe has passed away - i used to enjoy reading her comments.
What a beautiful tribute to your friend Joan. This piece was a favorite of my Grandmother, who was born in Northern Ireland, and also passed away this year. You have brought me to tears.
That was beautiful Johnathon and Tom. RIP Joan❤
One of all of music’s greatest melodies; I plan for it to be the last piece for my service when that time comes.
