    To eliminate corrosion problems on connectors use heat shrink tubing instead of electrical tape. For more custom installation, cut out the extra length of wiring and redo the connectors with shrink wrap. Nice result.

    Can you do a video on how to ground your fog lights so they can be controlled with the switch independently from the headlights. I want to be able to run my fogs by themselves.

    • @GXBOB
      @GXBOB  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm assuming you're talking about your OEM fog lights. Cutting off the power source and running it to a separate switch via your battery or ignition is not the hard part. The hard part is...once you cut it off from the OEM circuitry, what other anomalies will happen to your car's electrical system? It might be sharing a power source, a ground source, an inline resistor of some sort. We don't know unless we start chopping away. I've chopped away wires before and put them back to OEM and it caused the airbag lights to stay on. Stuff like that you gotta consider. Unfortunately, my model didn't come with OEM foglights so i can actually wire it from scratch using a toggle switch separate from the car's electrical system.
