    SIR Indian railway should develop metro like stations where only people who have tickets should be allowed to enter and strictest security

      It's very difficult to have ticket checking systems at railway station because railway station are not fully accessed. There are many places from where people can enter exit railway stations

    Mai eek South Indian hoon aur apne native place jaane ke liye the famous Konkan Railways use karta hoon.Konkan Route as you know single line route (bus Mumbai ke Thane se leke Mangaon tak doubling hai ).Esmi delays hamesha hote hai.You have to very lucky if you are finding a train on time in Konkan line.Monsoon me toh aur bhu jyada delays hote hai aur because yeh frequent heavy rainfall ke areas hai,edgar kabhi kabhi floods aa jate hain aur line disrupt hota hai.

    A lot of money is being poured for doubling, improving tracks, Vande Bharat every other week, electrification, digitization, etc., It will take a decade more to see at leat 90 -100% improvement to reach.

    Yesterday we faced 3½ hr late in midnight, actually we faced first time such long delays. Thanks to PT for the infos and Hope India will upgrade trains and route increase. Before we get into 100 yr of independence we should have best network

    The biggest problem was 90-2010 era, where railways was a votebank
    They used to announce trains over trians without any upgradation. Trains were announced as a votebank, in those lines the traffic gets clogged up
    This is major delay cause

      Excatly. We didnt invet in CAPEX means we have upgraded our railway station, rails,sleeper,bridges,electrification,doubling etc during that time. Our politicians thought announcing new trains and curbing passanger rate. We were still making 1950s british designed ICF old design coaches until 2014. Current govt is doing extremely well with completed electrication from 32% to 90% during this short time.

      From electrification, to implementation of improvement of tracks , signalling to anti collision systems and further expansion of subsystems and even railway stations
      They have pushed DFC and HSR and introduced semi HSR to India.
      U either are asleep or living under a rock

      DFC was constructing since 2008 but Indian railways failed to build track of 2800 in 15 years.
      Same with bullet train should have been completed by Dec 2023 but we are no where to it.
      Vande bharat is good definitely credit goes to our engineers but still we are operating this train at 80km speed again Indian railways failed to delivered.

    Recently BHEL is giving multiple tenders for advance overhauled signaling system as well as for new rolling stocks besides this new routes are being laid. Hopefully delays will be reduced in next years.

    The railway network was built by the looted money and out labour. Kisi British ne patthar nhi uthaye the.
    It was built to transfer wealth to the ports so that it could be shipped to England.

    there are some routes where there use to frequent train delays but now those delays have reduced to maximum 1-5 minutes which is negligible Indian standards but still in some routes the delays are above 5-6 hours, the delayed trains are mostly long distance trains in some routes all those problem is present in the both the routes but the main difference is the attitude of certain zones towards the delay.

      Train to Sri Ganganagar gets delayed everyday from Shakurpur basti railway station which is 2nd stop in journey starting from new Delhi.
      Your reason isn't valid that because of longer routes train gets delayed.

    This is a major Problem and becoming greater nowadays today was my MHTCET exam in nagpur i have to travel 250km and the first train I booked which was 1 day before my exam and was scheduled for evening but it arrived at 12:30 in the night and barely made me reach just before 10 min before the exams can't trust Indian railways more atleast if your train takes time you know the route mention the desired time even if it takes more if you know your focus is in adani coal trains and Ambani's petroleum ones

    Winter fog is understandable for delays. But I don’t think track maintenance caters to British era. The IR is now modernised well past the British era wooden sleepers. Also quantitative jump in the number of freight trains viz a viz with passenger traffic is one reason in the last couple of years 😁

    #askPT why don't the govt introduce tax incentives and special privileges for the top 8% ppl of the country if they have 3+ children, and introduce penalties for ppl below 2 lakh annual income if they have more than 2 children (like by cutting off their free ration) . In this way there will be better wealth distribution and creation, cz the rich and upper middle class ppl can afford to send their children to better schools and hence will contribute more to the economy.

    Make a video on local trains issues.
    Why govt not improving local trains ?
    speed is so slow,and coach design is same like 10years before.
    In sealdah to Bangaon (most crowded route ) ,local train takes 2:30 hrs to cover 70km, although train number is very less, track is also capable to handle 130kmph. Then why ?
    We are ready to pay little bit high ticket price,but why govt not focusing to upgrade/improve local trains ?

      It is just as as common in both. But LHB rakes have more powerful disc brakes. They are great at stopping trains at high speed but the risk of skidding increases because of the same disc brakes. Still, they are more safe and reliable compared to ICF shoe brakes.

    Indian railway speed limitation track infrastructure ko dhyan mai rakhte hue speed decide krti hai aur phr time table taiyaar hota hai , train late hone ka main wjha hai human accidents jiski wjha se train ko rukna pdta hai on the spot.
    2. Baaki aaj kal mostly train right time chalti hai , winters ko chor kr kyuki winters mai visibility issue hota hai

    Dedicated passenger corridoors only for 220-240 kmph Vande Bharat trains. Like metros and RRTS - one track, one speed, one type of train only -- all 2 lines both ways minimum, no single lines. Don't announce more trains than what the network can handle, and upgrade the signalling system for all weather real time tracking, even in heaviest fog. Then it will run like clockwork.
    We actually need more than 2x the network we have now to reach more places. Maybe much more. There is no such thing as too little demand - just try booking tickets.

    But bro mai ek baat bolu india ma train time pe departure hota hai or source sa destination 7 hour late poch te hai kyu maine just abhi recently 3 may ko journey kiya hwh to kyn k bich ma by 12810 howrah mumbai mail sa to wo howrah (hwh) sa to perfect on time 7:50 ko start huya but kalyan poch te poch te poch te wo 7 hour 16 minute because between rourkela to bilaspur section freight train ko pass kiya jata hai or passage ko train ko more the ek ek signal ma 40 to 50 minutes stop kar k 4 to 5 freight train ko pass kar k fir he chor te hai it is very disappointed 😡😡😡😡😞😞

    आप हज़ार कारण निकाल लो पर अंत मे सच्चाई यही है कि जब तक पूरे स्टाफ नही होंगे रेलवे में तब तक यही हाल रहेगा,और लास्ट बार रेलवे की वेकैंसी 2019 में आई थी,5 साल होने को है,तो जब स्टाफ ही नही होंगे तो ट्रैन late होगी ही😊

    But with time compare kare toh trains ab fir bhi thoda bohat time pr aaa rhi hai pehle jo train 1 ghanta late hoti thi wo ab 20-30 min late hoke pohacha rhi hai

    Completely wrong about india railway at 1947 vs now...in 1947 only 54000 route km with less than 10% electrified vs now 102000 route km with above 85 % electrified...pls get facts right

      Currently, speed is not problem. Efficiency of train time tables are problems..

    The whole fault is beacuse of Congress under congressbrule for 70 years only 750 km new railway line build , and British india in 1945 already have 64000 km. And under modi we already have new 1800 km pf new railway line and more than 7000 km doubling

Rahi baat delay ki to hum logo ki murkhata bhi isk piche ka reason hota hai humhare yaha suicide point railway track best hota hai... Jis ki wajah se train 2hrs delay hoti hai or sirf ek train nahi but pure system ko dealy kar deti hai...just because of chain effect

    Hame agar ticket cancel me agar 1 min ki v deri hoti hai to pura amount cut kar leti hai aur agar khud train 2-3 ghante late hoti hai to train ticket ka amount refund kyu nhi karti 🤬🤬🤬🤬
