Quake 4 Deathmatch--what the hell is it?

- Not a Quake pro by any means. This should serve as like an introduction to what Quake 4's multiplayer mode is like. don't expect much high level skill gameplay. I just only fought like hell...and that's all you can do.
I remember when this game was on the 360 whenever that system first came out back in......2005 I think? I thought the story mode was awesome compared to Doom 3..
it was really fun. feels like a whole different ball game than the previous games in the series. Crouch sliding helps around corners and such.
......Could anyone please explain to me why this my most popular video on my channel???? just look up quake 4 deathmatch and this shows up... maybe i can still play arena shooters....not as decent but i could still hold my ground.

Just on a side note, hardly anyone is playing this game...and this was the only time there was more than 2 people playing

God I love this game, I played it when it was new-ish for months, ctf and arena ctf all day long!
I heard there was a bunch of things wrong with the game before when it was first released or something.
+OrangeRaccoonTV Well I said new-ish. I'm not sure when I picked it up only that a lot of people were playing it. I have it for 360 too and could not find a game to play over the console. I guess I should have said in my first comment that I first played it for the PC version of Quake 4.
+KrazyDanProductions I had the same problem on the 360---I couldn't ever find a game online at the time but I did find several games of perfect dark zero instead. This game feels different than from quake 3 arena and such.

By the way, i'm terrible at these games.
This game lacked a good framework for multiplayer, and wasnt marketed for it either.
It could have succeeded otherwise because it was damn fun to play!

Mr.kniFe14 In fact, I remember at the time, no one was playing Quake 4 on the 360 so when i plugged in perfect dark zero, LOTS of people was playing that.
Well no reason to buy a 360 then shame... Cuzz hardly any one plays the PC version either.
You can tell this is not "pro Quake play" due to the rapid mouse movements. I play like this too but this is not the "right" way to play it, if you watch pros, they do small mouse movements, it almost looks like they're playing with gamepads sometimes due to how smooth and slow moves they make.
p.s.: any players online still?
Raven Gaming yea I never said I was pro Quake player, never will be either. Last time I checked to see if there was any ppl left and all I saw was around 2 or 4 players. Not sure if the status now though
Ill just guess here, but because mods wearing armour, it is inforced upon player not just to shoot whereever but to aim for headshots?
kudesnik1 welp, you’re way off but the thing to do here was to keep moving, getting weapons, health and armor and fighting everyone else all at the same time.
