11 running to the last page after saying goodbye to Amy really reminds me of 10 running the library to put River in the database. I'm not sure if it was a deliberate thing, but it was a parallel I noticed
I love how they re-used the eggs-eggs-eggs-ex-ter-min-ate thing with Clara after first showing it with Rory, when Clara starts it, the viewers know what's coming, but the Doctor has no clue
The two Town Called Mercy clips playing back to back made it seem once The Doctor was let back in he immediately grabbed someone to toss out in his place lol
Honestly at 24:42 I really feel sorry for Rory. Yeah, we all know Any was the one The Doctor had the most love for, but he could've at least called Rory's name once when they both jumped off together. Poor guy.

Yep. And we can never forget: Amy is the first face he ever saw. He cares for Rory but the intensity of his care is because of Amy's love for Rory :)

What I love about Smith's doctor is the childish moments (like playing cowboy) which make the dark ones even more powerful.
And the bright smiles he puts on when you know he´s just brave and not showing how sad he is.
He’s excellent at portraying how the doctor is both a soul full of childlike wonder and an ancient mind who has experienced enough to fill countless lifetimes

The scene of little Amelia looking up is at the end of "The Eleventh Hour," and that is synced up to the end of "The Angels Take Manhattan," which I love.

I love the family dynamic he had with the ponds.
I love the little touches like that that show just how much of a life these characters have together off screen. There's another one in this same scene, when Amy assumes that the Doctor has found new companions, that shows off how well she understands the Doctor
Did anyone notice that matt has a plaster on his finger in the first scene where Amy's wrist thingy was taken? I saw it the first time I whatched the ep (that if it is a plaster)

Very underrated series
Always though Oswin being converted was incredibly sad. (Disturbing too, first time I saw it.)
While not a fan of Asylum of the Daleks, the rest of series 7 part 1 is really underrated.
I remember someone saying that Asylum of the Daleks and Nightmare in Silver should have swapped antagonists and honestly I agree
@@a_cats I think a Dalek asylum is a cool concept, but very little is done with it and the inmates don't act much different from normal Daleks. Plus I don't think the Amy and Rory divorce really works, with most of the key moments being off screen. Might have worked if it was spread across the season rather than being contained to one story. Makes their relationship seem more unhealthy than it was probably intended.
@@mrdoctorgilmore I agree, but Cybermen having an asylum fits in better with their established lore and could also lean into the horror element of them that had been missing since series 2.

Isn’t it crazy the Doctor let’s Dalek Clara die for him here but by the end of hell bent he’s more than willing to break all of his own rules for her.
Well, keep in mind that that was a good 700-something years in the Doctor's life.
When he first met Clara, he had no idea who she was, but lamented at the fact that she had been converted into a Dalek fully. He marveled at her ability to retain her sense of self and thanked her for her sacrifice.
Later in Victorian London, when Victorian Clara died, he heard her speak the same last words, and saw that her name was exactly the same. He then realized something was afoot, and began searching.
Eventually, he found Clara, and after a series of adventures, including being able to travel back to the Time War and save Gallifrey, and defending Trenzalore and being saved by the Time Lords, he regenerated into 12, who was a much more impulsive and less whimsical individual.
12 and Clara then began to push each other to do more, to be better, to bend the rules to do good.
However, when the Time Lords orchestrated the death of Clara to trap the Doctor and interrogate him, he attempted to save her by using an extraction chamber, but ultimately couldn't prevent her death, as it had now become fixed completely.
The Doctor took a gamble and ended up wiping his memories to prevent himself from doing more damage, and Clara adventured with Ashildr for near-all eternity until she returned to Gallifrey and her moment of death.
Their relationship grew into a strong friendship over the course of their time together, and let's be honest.
Wouldn't you save your friend, even if it meant the end of everything?
@@AlexerXodiaczoderia yeh I know it’s a big amount of development, also think it was more than 700 years I think it might be almost 1 thousand years.
@@LibertyBridgeProductions He was around 1200 when he met Clara for the first time, and he spent around 700-900 years defending Trenzalore, so he was around 2000-2100 years old once he regenerated.
@@AlexerXodiaczoderia 1200 in bells of Saint John but also spent years in isolation after angels take Manhattan, god knows how long looking for Clara and loads of time passes within series 7A before losing any and Rory
Lowkey one of the best series
to me that was the saddest companion departure that wasn't undone the very next episode like with clara in season 9.
I wasn’t a fan of Moffat but Season 7 was pretty epic! And Rory? Underrated, but easily my favorite DW companion.
Angel's take Manhattan was brilliant
3:21 was that the second time that we've met a future companion? first being the christmas special with donna nobel.
@adriel flecha scarlat that was technically her cousin. Karen Gillan appeared as one of the Pyrovile cultists during the Tennant days, so technically there's that appearance too.

Series 7 PART 1 was the best part of Series 7.... the 2nd part was just RUBBISH. I'd like to forget about Clara Oswald please lol she's not that great to me.

It’s so weird to see the actor who plays father Brown totally made over as somebody else, and he’s virtually in a manner speaking in mannerisms and etc. And it’s only his voice tips you off the fat is father Brown, well the actor, who plays in.

Unpopular opinion, but I prefer Part Two of Series 7 more then the other. Although I do enjoy Dinosaurs on a Spaceship
I share that unpopular opinion, loved how fresh it felt with 11 in a new costume with Clara. The will-they won't-they undermining the series, the return of the Great Intelligence, redesigned Cybermen, Ice Warriors and a trip inside the TARDIS!!!!!

@@obiwankenobi687 series 8 had an amazing finale and arc and also listen. series 9 had heaven sent and the zygon two parter series and husband's of river song. 10 had the pilot which was a good epsiode the monk trilogy and of course world enough and time and the Doctor falls. In my opinion there the best series of the modern show

@@stephenphillips7699 Because they’re barely making £5/year from YT ads, I’d imagine, and it’s going to a completely separate arm of the BBC that has nothing to do with the actual production of any shows themselves.
British citizens pay the licence fee for access to BBC content on “live” television or catch-up services, and for the infrastructure to run the television network in the country.
These are all very basic facts that are easily Googleable.

The DVD's published officially by the BBC call them Series 7, Part 1. and Series 7, Part 2. Series 7 A & B can be defined as Part 1 and 2, but Officially the BBC never called them Series 7 A, or Series 7 B. Don't try correcting the Official Doctor Who TH-cam channel over their own branding by the BBC.
