Do you think cutting the foam interfacing a half inch shorter where the zipper will lay would be helpful in eliminating the bulk instead of cutting it away ? I hesitate to trim thru a zipper edge . This particular zipper is going to be heavily used . I have never used this foam where there is a zipper insert. What do you think ? The foam has been anchored in seams handle areas and pocket . I love your your tablet cover . Thank you so much.

I have watched numerous videos on making a bag for a tablet or I pad. I am choosing this one to make for my grandson because of the simplicity and great instructions. It's just a perfect bag for a computer!

I love i5. I did not do a double zipper bur changed it to a double outside pocket and a pocket on the inside. I gave one to my mother who stated it was well made. Thanks for 6our excellent instructions. Love ya accent by the way.

I have just finished making your bag for my U3A classes and it turned out beautifully thanks to your clear and precise instructions. I made my bag 1 and a half inches wider and longer because I have a cover for my iPad…..so glad I did because it’s nice and roomy to fit other documents too. I'm a little late to the game but I just made this and it is so cute. I will note to also add extra to your handles if you tablet is wider than the 6" you used in your video. I can get my hands through the loops but it is snug (mine is 7" wide).

I would possibly do a 1.5" boxed corner that will give you approximately a 3inch flat bottom. I hope that helps :)

I done two iPad bags I’m happy with the results the only thing that didn’t work for me is the zipper tab it’s not flat like your I followed step by step with your video what do I need to do to get it done right hope to hear from you thanks Gloria
The only advice l can give is seam allowance is key for zipper tabs...and lengthen you stitch lenght to 3.0 or 3.5 depends on the machine...sometimes if your stitch length is too small it won't turn correctly...and really push them out...may i suggest start with a smaller zip pouch such as my Flat bottom makeup bag till you get the hang of them...you can also make the tabs a little longer too...l have found that some have found this helpful. I used your measurements but it was too small at the zipper top. Going to start over with wider top measurements.

Hi Cindy, l got this fabric last year ...from Missy Rose fabrics here in Australia...it was a pre order and they only order what has been pre ordered so it is no longer available 😪
