What I find so remarkable is the story behind the work. Ave, Verum Corpus was a motet from the 13th or 14th century, and written in Gregorian chant as a Memorial Acclamation to the words of consecration in the Mass. Mozart had a cousin who was a priest in the church that Mozart was to visit on a journey, and had requested that Wolfie compose a work for him to be sing during Mass as the Memorial Acclamation. Mozart composed the work in his head, then committed it to writing on the coach, as he travelled to his destination. @@colintyler1405

I believe The Almighty Speaks through Mozart and his compositions as well as other Composers. There is a long list of these people, but in my very personal feeling, I believe Mozart was truly special.

I remember playing it in Silver Orchestra 🎻 as a first violinist 🎻 when I was 16 in 10th grade aka high school 🏫 sophomore. I also remember singing it in the mixed choir as a soprano when I was 18, a high school 🏫 senior aka 12th grade.
Better yet, you'd see the concluding Benediction of the Corpus Christi procession --- with the priests in golden copes and humeral veils lifting the Blessed Sacrament+ amidst the hushed and bowed congregation, while the incense rises and bells ring --- from the Sanctus bells to the plenum of the Belfry.
