    **INFO:**
Beautiful, cozy, rustic, fully-furnished 3-bedroom, 3-season semi off-grid camp on pristine Spaulding Lake in Oakfield, Maine. Built in 2009, this 23’ X 20’ log cabin comes with 200 +/- feet of lake frontage on a spacious, private lot (lot is approximately 200' X 99') with a spectacular view of Timoney Mountain over the east shore. Comes ready to enjoy with all furnishings shown, including all hand-made rustic solid pine furniture throughout, some built by a local craftsman and the rest by the local Amish community. The living area has brand new flooring, and the kitchen and bathroom both have brand new porcelain tile flooring. All this new flooring was just installed in June of 2024. Also included is a refrigerator, microwave, vacuum, small propane cooking stove, and dishes. Both bedrooms are carpeted, and above them is a new loft (built in June 2024) for a third bedroom or storage. Camp has full electricity through Eastern Maine Electric Cooperative.
Electric heat is installed in the living room, and a chimney could easily be installed to accommodate a wood or pellet stove. Camp has a small bathroom with a very nice $2,800 Biolet 65 waterless composting toilet. This is a high-end, award-winning, environmentally-friendly electric composting toilet that, under seasonal use, should only need emptying once a year.
The camp has a metal roof, as well as a 6’ X 20’ covered deck (with newer decking) for cookouts and summer gatherings. Deck lounges chairs are included. The lot has a dug well that's could potentially be plumbed into the camp, if desired. Want a dock for the lake? No problem- there is a wall installed to accommodate one. The camp is also located right up the road from a public boat launch.
Spaulding Lake is stocked annually by the State with brook trout. Other lake species include landlocked salmon, rainbow smelt, white perch, chain pickerel, and smallmouth bass.
Located just 7 minutes from I-95, this camp is in the heart of hunting, fishing and ATV paradise. The lot is very private, with very few other camps readily visible from it. This would make a terrific hunting camp or just a great getaway.
The camp sits on a beautiful piece of land with a spacious lawn surrounded by trees. To the east, and all the way around to the side directly across the lake, is all untouched land, making this a perfect opportunity for those looking for peace and quiet. The camp is located only about 20 minutes from Houlton, so it’s just a short trip for groceries, hardware, or anything else you may need. There is also a quaint Amish general store 5 miles from the camp that stocks hardware, homemade food, and various other products.
I’m hesitant to sell, but I live in southern Maine and am just not using it enough to justify keeping it and am looking for the right buyer to take over and enjoy this property as much as I have.
