We still haven’t played with Trading and Stealing or Council, but we have added all of the rest of the expansions including Invocations. We play at 5 often and with Invocations, it really adds some different situations to the game, to us, mostly in a fun way. We are looking forward to trying Will of the Council soon.

    Nice one Colin!
    Enjoyed watching along.
Looks better than my Caeser II PC civ game. The buildings don't burn down every 5 minutes in Foundations of Rome! lol

This game is so fantastic! I always bristle a bit when people dismiss it because it's over-produced and is a "lite" game. I think it feels like a top-tier Knizia design, and the fact that the rules are easy and the game plays fast doesn't mean there isn't a ton of depth. I totally forgot there was a co-op mode in the game am and excited now to try that version out soon!
Out of curiosity: is it the correct set-up in co-op to be playing--not only on the 2-player side--but also using only the 1-player squares? I haven't looked at the co-op rules, but I would almost assume you would set the game up at least for 3 players since there are 3 players with the bot. But the way it's set up is actually for only 1 player (not even using the blue cards). So by how you have it set up are you supposed to use the board that is equal to the human player count minus 1?

I totally agree it's a great great game ! I am pretty sure I played on the correct portion of the board based upon what is in the bgg link. I used the 2 player board, there is no 1 player board. It's 2-3 player on one side and 4-5 player on the other side. Hope that helps!!

"The absolute best part of this game is how quick the turns go." I would not consider that a positive review! =-p

To each their own I guess! I love how fast the turns resolve and it's so tight!
