    Try 325 degrees for 4 minutes. Works really well and lessens the chance of over cooking/darkening/drying out the pizza. Cheers!

    UPDATE: I got good, gooey cheese! I set the timer to 5:00, but quit at around 4:00. Good thing I did: the unit overcooked the sole of the crust, making it almost burnt; I will lay a piece of aluminum foil under the slice(s) the next time.
    I used the Maxi-Matic Elite Gourmet 5-qt model EAF5317D.

      Glad u found a way that worked for you! ❤️ I took my pizza out earlier too and the cheese was so friggin hot and dare I say, cheesy?? 😂 Buttttt yes I used a thin piece of aluminum foil on the fryer pan but made sure to not block all of the air holes in the fryer 😉 voila! Bottom crust was not burnt! 💪

    This was really useful because I use an airfryer and when I do it in the microwave it goes soggy so I don't like it so I cook pizza in the airfryer because it does not go soggy and I never know how long to put it in for so thank you

    Like Cooking Oil, Air is also a Liquid Medium. Air is not as dense as a Cooking Oil, therefore it is not as effective. However Airfrying with an Airfryer means the Fried Food would be relatively dry and without much oil (other than the oil that is part of the ingredients).

    • @RobSomeKnowledge
      @RobSomeKnowledge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, almost... Air (in most circumstances) is not technically a liquid, although it is a fluid. All liquids are fluids but not all fluids are necessarily liquids.
      There is one exception to this, air can become liquified by compression and/or cooling to extremely low temperatures (around -315 Fahrenheit at atmospheric pressure), however this state wouldn’t be in play when talking about the air in someone’s house which would be circulating in the air fryer.

    • @bme7995

      I like my pizza not too oily and I like my cheese to not melt, so it’s perfect for me who likes bland, dry food :)

    i think the timer for another brand of air fryer is different. 6 min for his pizza seems alright while 5 min for other person pizza was overcooked . it because each air fryer function differently . i found that best way is to set if up for just 3-5 mins with same temperature. if it doesnt look good you can add 2 or 3 more minutes and can also flip the side while youre at it.

    Finally got a air fryer for Christmas and just got around to trying it. My favorite is crispy leftover pizza. Set the machine at 350 for 7 minutes since my slice is N.Y. from an 18" pie. So after 7 minutes the top was well done and the bottom was limp dick soft. Fail. Thos will go back. My favorite way to crisp pizza is in a medium heat frying pan. Cover to heat top

    • @RobSomeKnowledge
      @RobSomeKnowledge  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmmm that’s weird mine comes out with a crisp crust. Is the pizza you are using fairly greasy when it is fresh? Do you have the same kind of screen bottom basket? Or is it just a flat metal plate basket?
