Investigators later revealed that Onfroy had been shopping at a motorcycle dealership when he was ambushed by four men, robbed of $50,000 cash, and fatally shot. The suspects were identified as Trayvon Newsome, Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Robert Allen. After a lengthy trial that spanned several weeks, during which the jury heard compelling testimony, reviewed key evidence, and listened to a confession from Allen, the three remaining suspects were found guilty of the armed robbery and murder of Jahseh Onfroy. X was really special to us fans, I discovered him in December of 2016 and I was in a tough spot and I connected to him because I felt like the things he said conveyed how I felt. He put my thoughts into words. To us fans, it was more than just the music, it was how he spoke to us and related to us that made us so attached to him

We were robbed of someone who was gonna be an example to the youth that the mistakes you make in your early youth do not define the person/adult you can grow into. He was murdered just as he was starting to grow into the force of good and positivity for the youth he so long yearned to be. Rest in Peace Jahseh, you are still heavily missed.

What's incredible about this man was the fact that he sold 68 million records in 1 year! His 1st record dropped in 2017 and he was murdered a year later. An artist is considered one of the best selling in history if they reach 100 million sales and this man sold almost 70 mil in a year. Those other artists only sold that many after a decade or more. I can't imagine what this man could have done in a decade. Simply incredible how many people his music reached in such a short amount of time.

Not a fan of guys who hit women, especially pregnant ones, but basically every clip ive seen of this man, interacting with fans, or anyone, showed a nice and appreciative guy. Sad to say in a way, but even as he was walking out of the door of the cycle shop to his death, he opened the door not only for his uncle behind him, but waited for a complete stranger coming in the opposite direction, and held the door for him as well. Now these are things we ALL should be doing, but lets be honest, famous people or celebrities rarely show that kind of courtesy for regular people. They dont even usually open their own doors unless they are alone.
He made some awful choices, but he also seemed to be self aware as well. We all make mistakes in life, but we can always be apologetic and have genuine remorse, as long as we ARE self aware, and recognize our mistakes as being wrong. I think he was doing that, and that deep inside, he was a good person. I honestly dont know ONE SINGLE NOTE of his music, but I wish him and his family peace, as well as his fans. I just hope that there can be SOMETHING that can be learned, or SOMETHING positive to be gained from such a senseless crime.

It is so haunting watching the surveillance footage of Xxx looking up at the very men who were about to take his life just minutes later. He has no clue. It was just any other innocent strangers walking into the store, nothing to do with him, and X didn't think anything of it. Then moments later, he is not only robbed of his money but then of his life, senselessly. All for some bills and shoes,clothes and clout. That was what his life was deemed to be worth by these cold blooded selfish monsters.
