After marriage, my husband and I lived separately for one & half years...till my daughter was born...
I was in my maika due to my mother being alone at home & my job ... & he was posted in kharian...
My in-laws are in pindi...
So we used to meet every fortnightly 😅...

It was a fun video. I couldn't think of Aamina's interview that was boring or Aamina was referring to.
But out of all her interviews I didn't like her interview with Talha Chohour and Saba Qamar. Talha's answers were dragged and Aamina had to interrup him to keep him on track. Saba is generally not good at interviews, I believe.

I would also like to add to this conversation that it is equally bad when an actor belonging to lower middle class speaks with an accent. This usually happens with many young actresses.
Exactly and I haven't really seen them pointing that out ever. It's equally annoying to listen to actors speaking urdu incorrectly even when it is their character's due requirement.
Since it's about English, I would like to say strata is a plural noun. Singular is stratum. I heard amna twice using strata as Singular noun.
There's a difference between elite and elitism.

Been married for 14 years and I totally agree that both husband and wife should have their own personal space but in the same house especially when there are children involved. It sometimes becomes too over bearing with another person being there continuously in your private space

Very interesting take on marriage. In Japan this concept exists and it’s called “weekend marriage” or “separation marriage”. Marriage norms should definitely evolve it’s the demand of the times we live in.

Very interesting! He has a point there….to keep interest alive in a married relationship! In some cultures not too long ago, in a joint family system, husband and wife didn’t have a separate room of their own, they would secretly meet once the others were not around. I’m sure that kept their interest alive.
