Viego in league actually don't work like he would in the lore, he's supposed to take over your mind and control you like a puppet, not body swap and turn into you. So i would make it so if he can kill or do something one of the opponent's character, he can use them for assist attack, so you would have Viego, your other character and the opponent's character that you got as an assist.
That's why he said technically. Gnar is only a yordle half the time (plus he's technically an evolutionary precursor to yordles. A proto-yordle of sorts)

This roaster needs a clunky character. And the best one is Fiddlesticks. With weird hitboxes (using his scythe and his long arm) and uncanny animations, his gameplay would revolve around scarecrows: He would have a movement in which he throws a scarecrow (that the opponent can break by hitting it), and he would have the ability to switch places with it. He would be a character that needs a lot of setup, but in the right conditions, he has the ability to do crazy shanenigans, changing places with multiple scarecrows and doing terrifying mixups, while providing a nice ammount of control by summoning crows, like in League
Jhin is a very valid choice. He's pretty versatile in his kit, actually. He used knives before being gifted a gun by a mysterious patron and he really did primarily employ traps to evade the extended Kusho family. Not even particularly "artistic" traps ever, just using his environment and whatnot. I could straight up see him being inspired by Hol Horse from Heritage but with some knife normals and more varied setup.
I don't really have much League knowledge, but there are 5 characters I desperately want. Those being Vi, Lee Sin, Talon, Samira, and Fiora. Even if they aren't base roster, I'll be happy if they show up at all.

I'm already having nightmares about a Jhin super based on his LOL ultimate that you can tag out of so you can run mixups with your other character while he locks the enemy down with the 4 shots.
I just want some of my weird freaks like Blitzcrank, Zac or Fiddlesticks, or some Yordle action like Veigar, Poppy or Rumble. So far everyone's basically normal-ish humans (even if Illaoi has some unusual aspects for sure and Ahri is like 10% fox) and my only worry is that they stick almost exclusively to human chars to appeal mostly to normies lmao
For the Jhin suggestion, you used Junpei as an example for a complex combo tracker, when 1. Junpei's system is intuitive because it's just a real life sport, and 2. Margaret in the SAME GAME has a super that does basically the exact same thing that you described, Hassou Tobi does a fuck ton more damage if you combo into it when the combo counter is at a multiple of 8. (It's 8 because in P4 Hassou Tobi hits 8 times)

3:30 the biggest mistake is trying to give RIOT games characters archetypes. They doesn't know what is this. They literally have tank assassin in their game, what are you talking about?
About a character that completely swiches playstyles with stances, there's Izayoi from BlazBlue. She has a normal mode, where she plays a keepaway and neutral control style, and in that mode, she farms stocks when the opponent blocks or gets hit by a special move. Then, she can freely switch to her Gain Arts mode, where she becames a super agressive rushdown character with flying movement, and can use her stocks she previously farmed for combo extensions, fullscreen neutral skips, instant overhead mixups and pressure resets.

As for a character that could be interesting is Ryze as a midrange fighter with some teleport shenanigans. I’m mainly FGC and only got LoL back in 6th grade because my friend asked me. After middle school I never decided to redownload it until somewhat recently when they reworked my old main, Udyr. OG Udyr would probably be a stance character more focused on rush down but his rework put that man on a BULK! His body proportions are now in a similar vein as SF6 Zangief so now he’d probably be a stance brawler - grappler with hard hitting combos and deviating command grabs. I would play Udyr regardless but I really hope they make him a grappler
I have an idea that i haven't seen anywhere else: Kindred as a duo set. If you choose Kindred you tag between Wolf/Lamb. Wolf is rushdown, Lamb is a zoner. they could have a unique mechanic like shared meter/ quicker tags or you could have two different versions where the second vers. is your puppet character idea etc. Or Riven, where her sword gains range/ power depending on her meter level, which creates the decision between maintaining high meter without using it for better damage or trading that damage for meter usage. That is exactly how using her ult in league feels like. (Oh, I just got to the Riven part of the video.) This is a really good list and I agree with 80% of it. But knowing Riot, they probably want to put more "marketable" characters in 2XKO. Caitlyn does the same things as Jhin (ranged zoner with traps) + has the Arcane popularity Akali. Because Riot loves shoving Akali into everything they make. (she's in TWO bands, and why was she even in the coven skin line?) but she is a cool choice for a fighting game tbh. Gnar is a cool choice, but I thought you were going to put in Braum who the community loves, he's a big tanky shield guy give him a shield block that destroys projectiles or even let his push block reflect projectiles.
lee sin: Ping pong tag combos across screen and sonic strike. taliyah: earth bender, idk gangplank: delayed barrel setup combos kayn: not sure how his form change would work but a stance character for him sounds really cool thresh: lore accurate thresh zed: shadow puppet plays shen: spirit blade set play akali: she'd sell well
I feel like given the fact that the game is 2v2, I feel like Viktor being in the game and there being a mechanic that makes him "evolve" as you deal damage to your opponent would be interesting. As one of the scaling champions in LoL, I think it'd be fun to have a character in 2XKO that scales. What if Death Ray got a second hit when upgraded and became a launcher? What if Siphon Power could be used to give your teammate a buff? Gravity Field would be a great thing to control space with and his ult is basically Bang Shishigami's umbrella. Only issue is I can't think of much for him to do outside of his abilities, but they could certainly make some stuff up. I feel like he'd be a good "why of all characters did you choose this guy" pick. Also, we don't have a burst zoner, and Viktor certainly fits that job description.
The style meter character just kinda sounds like susanno'o from BBCF. (also I see the dmc inspiration cuz in dmc3 when Dante gets higher style meter moves called "crazy combos" will either get more hits or change properties which is rlly cool and rewards you for stylish play)
In my opinion Ryze should be in the base roster, back in 2016 he got his most recent rework his abilities had synergy with each other, making q combo into e have a small buff on damage or e into w save a resource to spend it into defense or damage... unafortunaly they removed that for simple q e rorations, so maybe in 2xko he gets the skill ceiling he deserves
While he’d probably be DLC due to his inherent kit, Twisted Fate seems perfect as a guy who can change his specials to fit the situation and lead to combo routes or setups. Maybe a high burst damage card throw that needs to recharge slowly, or a lower damage throw that recharges so much faster, or even a very low damage card with a middling recharge but a weird debuff, like delayed inputs or poison or even a stun state to extend combos.
For the puppet spot, I think another character that would be really cool and iconic would be Anne. she plays even closer to an actual puppet character than Kindred while also adding some interesting mechanics to overwhelm your opponent (Imagine having to hold pressure against a cracked Ekko and Anne Team with rewind and the bear just smaking she shit out of you from behind)
So, since you asked. I suppose I can share my only wish. Its honestly Kayn, and I think I have some ideas as to how we could do it. Not 100% sure on implementation, but I got a few rough ideas. First off, Kayn's Passive and choosing a form. That one is simple in my opinion. If one of the opponents is KO'd first, Kayn becomes the Shadow Assassin. If Kayn's teammate is the first to fall, he succumbs to Rhaast. Idea here being that the Shadow Assassin could help snowball the other character (or vice versa) and perhaps Rhaast could have some sort of self sustain in his kit. His Q is just a dash and slash, simple. W is a line knock=up in most cases, also simple. I have no idea how you would incorporate shadow step though. And I feel like his Ultimate Umbral Tresspass literally needs to be just gimped to a CGI execute super or something sadly. But, that's my wishlist character. Thanks for letting me share
Briar should be in the game, she takes health from her opponent based on a bleed attack her heal increases at lower (so middle fingers up to your opponent), but a lot of moves require her using her health. Briar also has her Blood Frenzy where you lose control of movement and your attack (have the Briar cycle through a few random combos, still not sure taking away attack control would be fine), but ability activation is still possible. She also would have short range while not in Blood Frenzy because of her pillory making getting in close very important, and she has a lot of move that are about jumping and flipping around. Her assists can include Certain Death (hit the enemy where every they are on screen combo filler or make moves safe) and/or Chilling Scream (slowing enemies down). She would be a Glass Cannon/ Zoner Breaker character with plenty of helpful assist to keep your teammate in the fight and keeping on pressure but would have to be careful because of her health reliance and Bloody Frenzy making you lose control. [Not about character instead of calling it 2XKO call it Double-Cross Knockout]
*adds the death lord and arguable one of the most evil characters in the entire story of league of legends as one of your first characters, a character* "We need a villain"
My dream for kindred would be for her to play kinda like eagle from KI. He is also a puppet character with a bow, but is rushdown/mixup based. The robot bird is there to help him apply his pressure. This also fits kindred's playstyle in league, as they are fairly aggressive invading the enemy jungle and chasing down those who flle death's call.
Just a quick note about Riven. She was created with fighting games in mind. In fact, all of her gameplay is centered around animation cancels to maximize her DPS.
Briar is a perfect for a fighting game. I can imagine her having a moveset when she's restrained and a ability where she can break free, giving her access to more combos and a small life regen for a limited amount of time
I feel like Ahri was confirmed, but my brain is dumb and can't rember, but I feel like she'd be really cool as a hybrid of rushdown and trapper. Have her use her orb for combo starts and extensions by throwing it out and manipulating it around like a simplified puppeteer. Fox Fire could work as a ranged pressure tool where the three shots go upward then fire out at a slow pace one at a time after a bit, not too strong but enough to be a potential distraction to let her get in. I think, in fairness, it would be best to have them lock onto where the enemy was during activation or just go a set path so it's still reasonable. Charm could work as a high risk, high reward counterattack that takes control away from the enemy if you time it right, but leaves you very vulnerable if you miss. Otherwise, she could have high mobility and short melee range with a lot of precise kicks, jabs, and scratches. Spirit Rush could also be incorporated as a temporary speed boost that fires off a slow projectile every time she dashes. My inspirations for this are Viola in Soul Calibur V as well as Jill in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

i think qiyana could be really cool her move set would fit a fighting game,just imagine 1 1+2 would use ice and stun,1 1+3 use earth and damage buff ur last hit,1 1+4 would make u invisible for a short duration of time.this 1+2 mechanic would add a lot of creativity to combos and be a really cool character to main.
Speaking of Vi and Jinx, I believe Yone being added to the game would be a funny addition because of his possession ability and huge knock-up potential. Probably the only change he will have is the shield ability giving when landing the blade swing.
So nc that a few youtubers are mentioning Riven, theirs 2 cool things about Riven that makes her stand out in league. 1 her design is literally inspired by fighting games from the instal and rekka. Also she's inspired by Marth (bcuz of the sword combat) from super smash bros and her placeholder name in development like a decade ago is literary Marth. And 2 Riven can animation cancel in game like it's the reason she's very technically in game and it's literally part of her design now after the bug that riot games decided to make it part of her now.
I would add AZIR as the puppet char. he can conjure sand soldier as he likes, he can either dash to them or have them dash, attack from them and even summon soldiers with shields to block the enemy, he also has a cool laser spear that I want to be able to use.
Ok my argument for Shyvana, Intellectually: She is not only a character that could have a very fast and damaging moveset with her being a brawler and a fire user, but also being a half dragon opens her up to intersting move combinations with flying, fire, and comboing with resets, wall bounces, and the like. Bias: She is my main and she is a FREAKING DRAGON AND SHE COULD TURN INTO A DRAGON FOR HER SUPER AND THAT WOULD BE METAL AS HELL!

Vi as a boxer(my fav type) would be straight forward and nice but imagine someone like Jayce which can stance change from all in mode to zoner mode

like i could see them as a puppet + zoner, a puppet + pixie or a puppet + gimmick character
when i heard perfect puppet i was thinking more of orianna since all of her spell are attached to the ball but i guess she can also be a zoner.
I’m mainly FGC and only got LoL back in 6th grade because my friend asked me. After middle school I never decided to redownload it until somewhat recently when they reworked my old main, Udyr. OG Udyr would probably be a stance character more focused on rush down but his rework put that man on a BULK! His body proportions are now in a similar vein as SF6 Zangief so now he’d probably be a stance brawler - grappler with hard hitting combos and deviating command grabs. I would play Udyr regardless but I really hope they make him a grappler
I have an idea that i haven't seen anywhere else: Kindred as a duo set. If you choose Kindred you tag between Wolf/Lamb. Wolf is rushdown, Lamb is a zoner. they could have a unique mechanic like shared meter/ quicker tags or you could have two different versions where the second vers. is your puppet character idea etc.
Or Riven, where her sword gains range/ power depending on her meter level, which creates the decision between maintaining high meter without using it for better damage or trading that damage for meter usage. That is exactly how using her ult in league feels like. (Oh, I just got to the Riven part of the video.)
This is a really good list and I agree with 80% of it. But knowing Riot, they probably want to put more "marketable" characters in 2XKO.
Caitlyn does the same things as Jhin (ranged zoner with traps) + has the Arcane popularity
Akali. Because Riot loves shoving Akali into everything they make. (she's in TWO bands, and why was she even in the coven skin line?) but she is a cool choice for a fighting game tbh.
Gnar is a cool choice, but I thought you were going to put in Braum who the community loves, he's a big tanky shield guy give him a shield block that destroys projectiles or even let his push block reflect projectiles.

I feel like given the fact that the game is 2v2, I feel like Viktor being in the game and there being a mechanic that makes him "evolve" as you deal damage to your opponent would be interesting. As one of the scaling champions in LoL, I think it'd be fun to have a character in 2XKO that scales. What if Death Ray got a second hit when upgraded and became a launcher? What if Siphon Power could be used to give your teammate a buff? Gravity Field would be a great thing to control space with and his ult is basically Bang Shishigami's umbrella. Only issue is I can't think of much for him to do outside of his abilities, but they could certainly make some stuff up.
I feel like he'd be a good "why of all characters did you choose this guy" pick. Also, we don't have a burst zoner, and Viktor certainly fits that job description.
I just want either a robot character being blitzcrank or a freak fighter being fiddlesticks
The style meter character just kinda sounds like susanno'o from BBCF. (also I see the dmc inspiration cuz in dmc3 when Dante gets higher style meter moves called "crazy combos" will either get more hits or change properties which is rlly cool and rewards you for stylish play)

In my opinion Ryze should be in the base roster, back in 2016 he got his most recent rework his abilities had synergy with each other, making q combo into e have a small buff on damage or e into w save a resource to spend it into defense or damage... unafortunaly they removed that for simple q e rorations, so maybe in 2xko he gets the skill ceiling he deserves
I pray Fiddlesticks somehow makes it into this game, I think he would be pretty fun to play in a fighting game format
While he’d probably be DLC due to his inherent kit, Twisted Fate seems perfect as a guy who can change his specials to fit the situation and lead to combo routes or setups. Maybe a high burst damage card throw that needs to recharge slowly, or a lower damage throw that recharges so much faster, or even a very low damage card with a middling recharge but a weird debuff, like delayed inputs or poison or even a stun state to extend combos.

For the puppet spot, I think another character that would be really cool and iconic would be Anne.
she plays even closer to an actual puppet character than Kindred while also adding some interesting mechanics to overwhelm your opponent (Imagine having to hold pressure against a cracked Ekko and Anne Team with rewind and the bear just smaking she shit out of you from behind)
So, since you asked. I suppose I can share my only wish. Its honestly Kayn, and I think I have some ideas as to how we could do it. Not 100% sure on implementation, but I got a few rough ideas.
First off, Kayn's Passive and choosing a form. That one is simple in my opinion. If one of the opponents is KO'd first, Kayn becomes the Shadow Assassin. If Kayn's teammate is the first to fall, he succumbs to Rhaast. Idea here being that the Shadow Assassin could help snowball the other character (or vice versa) and perhaps Rhaast could have some sort of self sustain in his kit.
His Q is just a dash and slash, simple. W is a line knock=up in most cases, also simple. I have no idea how you would incorporate shadow step though. And I feel like his Ultimate Umbral Tresspass literally needs to be just gimped to a CGI execute super or something sadly. But, that's my wishlist character. Thanks for letting me share

Briar should be in the game, she takes health from her opponent based on a bleed attack her heal increases at lower (so middle fingers up to your opponent), but a lot of moves require her using her health. Briar also has her Blood Frenzy where you lose control of movement and your attack (have the Briar cycle through a few random combos, still not sure taking away attack control would be fine), but ability activation is still possible. She also would have short range while not in Blood Frenzy because of her pillory making getting in close very important, and she has a lot of move that are about jumping and flipping around. Her assists can include Certain Death (hit the enemy where every they are on screen combo filler or make moves safe) and/or Chilling Scream (slowing enemies down). She would be a Glass Cannon/ Zoner Breaker character with plenty of helpful assist to keep your teammate in the fight and keeping on pressure but would have to be careful because of her health reliance and Bloody Frenzy making you lose control. [Not about character instead of calling it 2XKO call it Double-Cross Knockout]

My dream for kindred would be for her to play kinda like eagle from KI. He is also a puppet character with a bow, but is rushdown/mixup based. The robot bird is there to help him apply his pressure. This also fits kindred's playstyle in league, as they are fairly aggressive invading the enemy jungle and chasing down those who flle death's call.
Just a quick note about Riven.
She was created with fighting games in mind.
In fact, all of her gameplay is centered around animation cancels to maximize her DPS.
although, the animation cancels were unintentional by rito.
Briar is a perfect for a fighting game. I can imagine her having a moveset when she's restrained and a ability where she can break free, giving her access to more combos and a small life regen for a limited amount of time
She feels too new to me
I feel like Ahri was confirmed, but my brain is dumb and can't rember, but I feel like she'd be really cool as a hybrid of rushdown and trapper.
Have her use her orb for combo starts and extensions by throwing it out and manipulating it around like a simplified puppeteer. Fox Fire could work as a ranged pressure tool where the three shots go upward then fire out at a slow pace one at a time after a bit, not too strong but enough to be a potential distraction to let her get in. I think, in fairness, it would be best to have them lock onto where the enemy was during activation or just go a set path so it's still reasonable. Charm could work as a high risk, high reward counterattack that takes control away from the enemy if you time it right, but leaves you very vulnerable if you miss. Otherwise, she could have high mobility and short melee range with a lot of precise kicks, jabs, and scratches. Spirit Rush could also be incorporated as a temporary speed boost that fires off a slow projectile every time she dashes.
My inspirations for this are Viola in Soul Calibur V as well as Jill in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3

i think qiyana could be really cool her move set would fit a fighting game,just imagine 1 1+2 would use ice and stun,1 1+3 use earth and damage buff ur last hit,1 1+4 would make u invisible for a short duration of time.this 1+2 mechanic would add a lot of creativity to combos and be a really cool character to main.
Speaking of Vi and Jinx, I believe Yone being added to the game would be a funny addition because of his possession ability and huge knock-up potential. Probably the only change he will have is the shield ability giving when landing the blade swing.
I think that Kindred has the potential to be super fun and interesting. I’d love to see how they would implement wolf.

So nc that a few youtubers are mentioning Riven, theirs 2 cool things about Riven that makes her stand out in league. 1 her design is literally inspired by fighting games from the instal and rekka. Also she's inspired by Marth (bcuz of the sword combat) from super smash bros and her placeholder name in development like a decade ago is literary Marth. And 2 Riven can animation cancel in game like it's the reason she's very technically in game and it's literally part of her design now after the bug that riot games decided to make it part of her now.
I would add AZIR as the puppet char. he can conjure sand soldier as he likes, he can either dash to them or have them dash, attack from them and even summon soldiers with shields to block the enemy, he also has a cool laser spear that I want to be able to use.
Ok my argument for Shyvana,
Intellectually: She is not only a character that could have a very fast and damaging moveset with her being a brawler and a fire user, but also being a half dragon opens her up to intersting move combinations with flying, fire, and comboing with resets, wall bounces, and the like.
Bias: She is my main and she is a FREAKING DRAGON AND SHE COULD TURN INTO A DRAGON FOR HER SUPER AND THAT WOULD BE METAL AS HELL!
