I figured it out! For my system anyway. Bad sata cable or bad sata drive. I unplugged all my sata drives and everything went back to normal. The m.2 works, everything functions the way it did.
I’m having this issue right now I don’t know why my computer isn’t turning on! It is a new pc build and I’m using a m.2 ssd on a X-570 AMD ASUS Motherboard. Anyone know how to fix this issue?
@@fresh_paint I don’t have any hdds I only have a 1tb ssd connected to the motherboard. There is a green light showing on the motherboard and my screen is stuck on the TUF GAMING logo and I tried swapping out my keyboards and to no avail nothing is happening when I hit f2 or delete key
Ok a few things: 1. Try resetting your CMOS if you have not already. 2. Unplug all usb devices and try to boot. If you get past the splash screen you can plug in your keyboard and see if it works. 3. Verify your monitor is plugged in to your GPU not your motherboard. 4. Re-seat your m.2 5. Try booting with a single stick of RAM. 6. Re-seat your GPU. This is the process I would go through to troubleshoot this issue. I hope this helps. -Josh
@@fresh_paint I’ve tried everything and to no avail I am not getting results. There is a green motherboard light on the boot I don’t know what this means
yeah I am still having this issue as well. I am going to put another video out but removing and replacing the m.2 (if you have one) has worked and more recently removing the sata power to my hdd and turning on the comp has worked as well. I hope this helps
My issue was intermittent. If I rebooted MANY times, I would get it to roll into windows. If I got to the bios, I could save and exit and it would boot. I JUST moved my m.2 to the top slot from the bottom slot. I'm going to try removing SATA cables and removing the m.2 next to see what gives. Driving me nuts. Trying to diagnose another am4 rig rn too, but I can't narrow it down, seeing as when I swap parts, I can't vouch for either system!

Thats awesome! I actually installed more fans for better cooling. I haven't had any issues since July.
I had the same problem. What worked was unplugging the hard drives and re-booting into the BIOS. Then you're in. Hope it helps.
Good info, thank you Carl.

Do you have any HDDs installed? Mine turned out to be an HDD that failed, which happens even if they are new. Could be a multitude of reasons.

Same. Solutions I've seen on Reddit include removing m.2, bad sata cable...etc

Same issue here
I have read a lot online and think I found a solution...better cooling.
@@fresh_paint I figured out the problem, I just had to update the bios
