Evans Creek has the BEST NW OFF ROAD Trails? - Yamaha RMAX | Part 6

- Evans Creek is located on the western slopes of Mount Rainier adjacent to the National Park entrance. My first time experiencing Evans Creek was nearly 20 years ago! Over the years, I’ve driven nearly ever trail with a handful of different 4x4 trucks.
This trip we planned to camp out for several days and attempt to conquer all the trails including the rather intimidating 518 trail. The Yamaha Wolverine RMAX can travel much more quickly through these trails thanks to the short wheelbase and tight turning radius. The small narrow body helps with squeezing past tight trees and off camber ruts. The RMAX made the trails a blast!
No doubt these are my favorite NW Off Road trails by far. Fun and challenging!

We travel all over the country... I'd recommend joining a local 4x4 group to gain experience! It is fun building friendships through groups

It seems like the tires don’t want to spin. Are you riding in high range? Is this a product of using the crawl mode?
Low range. We do run crawl mode and keep the throttle at the lowest input to avoid spinning and tearing up the trails. Plus they are large tires! 34" that measure 34.5".
Light foot, no loss of traction,no broken axles.

Yep! It will keep your attention... plenty of challenges. Be sure to read the OHV trail requirements before going! :)
Do you ride with your front sway bar in or out?
We removed the front sway bar completely.
