  • This ASMR Sleep Hypnosis will help you to stop overhthinking, something that we all do and something that creates a lot of discomfort and distress. At the end of the hypnosis I will guide you into a deep and restful sleep from which you will wake fully rested and ready to face your day. I am a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and Hypnotherapist so all the techniques used in this video are proven to be effective and up to date.     I overthink all the time. I figure that just having someone talk to me takes me away from my own mind. This is why ASMR is so great. By focusing on your very calming voice, I stopped thinking about my first car ride alone (tonight). Love!

      I am the same way, it keeps me up all night sometimes, but when I listen to ASMR or my parents are talking, it takes my mind off of everything.

    Thank you sooo much for the non-visual hypnosis! Ahhh, this is absolutely perfect! Today was extremely stressful, as I had to call the police on a domestic violence happening in the apartment behind me and I’m a survivor of domestic violence/abuse, so it triggered my CPTSD. It is 3:30 in the morning and I’m finally going to be relaxed enough to sleep, thanks to you! ❤️🌙

    Physical relaxations are my FAVORITE! I find that even with guided mental visualisations, my jaw will be clenched or my brow furrowed - and the physical relaxations always help me recognize that and relax fully. So wonderful, thank you!! 🤗

    Im sorry to over post. I certainly dont expect responses to my vast comments. But i have to say: The internet can be a place for real unpleasantness. It can be a great source of negativity. Its great that stuff like this also exists to make it worthwhile. I think the internet is maybe the best, and worst thing to ever happen to human communication.       DANIEL NERADT that is very true that important to understand! If we use this basically unlimited resource for learning new things, getting relaxed, helping others, etc, then we are using it for good. Finding treasures like this video (which I keep coming back to!) certainly makes up for any negativity we may accidentally stumble upon. I do wish there was a “helpful, positive experience” browser to completely block out the bad stuff. I really like your profile picture! Reminds me of something I’ve experienced a few times; they were good times and learning experiences.

    I'm just getting to know this channel, and I find your videos practical, particularly anything to do with sleep.
    As someone with C-PTSD I find quality sleep very hard and anxiety forces me to sleep during the day instead which messes my mental health up, so thank you for sharing your abilities on TH-cam. ☺️

    You know I can't get through an entire video. My eyes wanted to close immediately when I was staring at the dripper. I kept rewinding thinking I was missing out on important steps. I would love to be under hypnosis. If you can achieve this for me through a video imagine what could happen in person. I would like to regress into childhood or into a past life even.     I'm amazed at how calming your manner is. I did your survey by the way, I enjoy listening and wonder if you can create a therapy for sports issues, i.e. yips in golf? I realize its a very specific problem but i wonder if its an anxiety ? disorder etc. Its very frustrating being able to play the game at a high level and then to almost have it cripple(mentally)you. I really appreciate any advice etc. Please stay safe in this crazy time right now.

    I've just found your channel (and ASMR in general) and finding it extremely interesting.
    Have you ever done any research into "ear worms" at all as I suffer horrendously with them when I'm tired and often can't sleep as I've got the same 10-15 second loop going over and over in my head. Sometimes I'll only listening to a song once and get snippets stuck in my brain and I'll often have songs pop into my head that I've not listened to literally for years. Interestingly though, whilst it only seems to be with spoken word songs and I don't tend to get it when listening to instrumental music, I did have to give up learning guitar as I often found myself stuck in a loop playing the same things over and over.

    Question:Last night was the first night I’ve watched your videos, and I had THE craziest dream- I was in an interactive scary movie. I wasn’t scared but I woke up and fell back a few times and the dream picked right back up. This is the third night this week that I’ve watched a hypnosis video and had a “strong” dream. Is it common to have pts with this response to hypnosis ?

    Posting the morning after watching.. I was experiencing insomnia last night, and this is what came up at the top of my feed! The muscle relaxation part was actually really effective and it diverted my mind from many other things. I don't remember much after that, and must have fallen asleep pretty quickly. Thank you, it worked!
    The only criticism I can make here is regarding the oozy timer part at the beginning: You're trying to make people sleep, so I don't think you should be asking us to stare at a screen with a bright white backlit object. Maybe a purely audio based induction with visualization would enable us to keep our eyes closed?
    Regardless, Thank you for your work on this great video! It helped me sleep!

      This is a tricky one because the visual induction is such a good way to begin.....can you slightly lower the brightness of your screen maybe?

      @@TheASMRPsychologist I'm not going to argue against a real life Psychologist on this one. Having thought about this more today, I think the real issue is that the concept and expectation in your videos, at least the ones I've seen, is a bit different than what I've seen in other similar ASMR / relaxation / sleep meditation / etc. content.
      I typically don't even start playing a video like this until I'm well nestled in bed and ready to relax. Your stuff is a bit different in that you have a longer preamble explaning what you're doing, and getting people ready for the main event. So I think your sleep-related content, at least the ones I've seen, combines a lot more 'wind-down' stuff that isn't normally consumed from a position of being ready to fall asleep.
      So in conclusion, is a brightly lit visual induction kind of jarring for someone who's already in the dark and ready to sleep? Yes it is, but I think your videos need to be started earlier in the night-time routine.

    I can’t listen to the whispers. I wish you could her how this translates over my iPhone audio,
    I can’t hear the words, there is to much crackle and popping loud sounds that over take the words.
    I have tried adjusting the sound, try using headphones Nothing helping, this video especially extra almost distorted sounding. Great content and I love the soft spoken. But I can’t listen to this one. Just wanted to let you know how it’s coming across on mobile device.

    Idk if I have some psychological disorder because I CONSTANTLY am thinking about nostalgia from times I wasn’t in, or like I’ll have nostalgia from a film or if I look at pictures on Pinterest or TikTok’s I’ll get nostalgic from Them. It’s weird.

    This video put me to sleep so well that I woke up 30 minutes later to the sound of a 911 dispatcher because I laid on my phone while I was sleeping which set off the SOS function.

      Adverts are set to only play at the beginning of my videos, I just doubled checked. I don't know why TH-cam overrides this sometimes but I have heard of this happening on other ASMR videos. I am so sorry xx

    Here is a thought I’ve had! Hit read more if u want to see!
    If life is a simulation, and there is no heaven or hell, no pain no fear. Then why should we be scared? Even tho it’s ‘endless darkness’ we wouldn’t feel see or think... like floating in a pool mental at night with no feeling no thoughts no emotions and most of all no human, physical or mental body. If non of those thing exist and we are not even and object then we have no feeling therefor we should not be scared.
    That was a lot sorry!
