Got our first batch of 12 random quail eggs from thieving otter farms. They even gave us an extra 2 for a total of 14. Can’t wait to see how they candle in about a week.

Hey I was wondering where I can get a male coupling and male bushing and what are the things the drinking cups attach to. I was building the quail waterer you did and if you could get back to my comment I’d appreciate it.
@@Outdoorrichie they might keep their farm clean of manure, but their birds are all mutts. You should really look into the reviews for Myshire, but it’s difficult because they pay for so many fake reviews. So many people order from Myshire and don’t get what they purchased, myself included. Myshire lies and says things can’t breed true, but it’s actually because they don’t know how to breed correctly.
Well he also only mentioned SW Gamebirds in passing reference to others, he might have just skipped them because it's always assumed they'd be on there.
Channel size is irrelevant, as I said in a previous comment the breeders listed here are dedicated to producing clean genetics and bloodlines. Large hatcheries rarely have the ability to selectively breed due to the shear numbers of birds they keep.

Wondering if there's a reason you dont recommend myshire. Id been considering ordering there.
This is a breeder's list, myshire is a commercial hatchery. The breeders listed here are dedicated to producing clean genetics and healthy bloodlines.
Myshire is quantity over quality. They are just in it for the money and don’t put any effort into good breeding practices… quite the opposite.
