I notice almost all of the free standing structure have fire place to it witch is nice but are there any with out ? ALSO are Detached structure with wall fireplace’s is it expensive ? .and if you just do just a (wall stone)instead of a fireplace to a detached structure is that expensive to a (detach structure)
I'm interested in doing a covering on a budget. I'm trying to think about what the priority might be in terms of what to cover. Should I cover the gas fire pit, the grilling area, the dining table? Is there a best thing to cover? We do have some large trees adjacent to our property that tend to drop tree junk down. Should I try to make my structure protect us from that or don't let it get hit by that? Thanks! Great videos!
I can confidently say that I have watched every video you have posted on your channel. I have certainly learned a LOT from Micah. Thank you. Quick question. When it comes to pavilions, say, a cedar unit 20' x 12', is it safe to put a gas grill underneath it? I noticed that your designs sometimes have a grill underneath, while others have the grill positioned at the edge, where the outdoor kitchen pushes out beyond the footprint of the pavilion. I would think that if it's underneath, the smoke would just rise inside the structure and stain the ceiling. Worse, a bad flare-up could set the pavilion on fire. Can I ask your thoughts on this?
Both ways are fine although it does kinda depend on your climate. Can u email me and then I'll send u a link to a quick zoom meeting so we can chat over your space? Micah@paradiserestored.com
We include the materials in our design but we would not be able to provide an estimate on the materials as that is a totally different market. Once the design is complete then u can work with a local installer to provide an estimate. I hope we can help with the Design as well have done many recently on the East Coast. Have a nice weekend
@@BackyardDesignGuy I’ll be DIY it, what I’m asking is there a parts list/materials list of what it will take to build it, I don’t mean a cost for materials. Just an actual parts list
What are some of the price ranges? Don’t need an exact, just an idea of what numbers we should expect. What are the lowest prices and mid to the high end type..
Hard one - how about a Pergola and a retractable shade? Here's an idea from the Forest property in our portfolio: paradiserestored.com/portfolio_item/swim-spa-backyard-ideas/
I have been watching your channel for months. I am in Clovis/Fresno, CA. Would love advice on choosing an outdoor living builder. Do I need to hire an architect or a landscape designer? Would love to chat offline, if possible.

This guy is great. You can tell this is his passion.
Thank you very much!
If we pay you to do a design for us on the east coast, will that design include an estimate on materials needed? IE a materials list?

Yes. We will call out the materials and the amount needed

How does measuring work remotely and different elevation?
We will walk you through it. I will send over an instructional video and we do some of it via satellite technology.
@@BackyardDesignGuy Sounds good, Thanks!
No problem.
My HOA does not allow closed off roofs, unfortunately. They have to have open slats.
