Exo...use black ATV gasket sealant for the aluminum cover to keep out the sand. That sand in there looks brutal. Also, easy plastic fix over glue, take your soldering iron and bond the plastic back together. You just have to push the melting plastic over itself with the soldering tip. Want to add reinforcement, use a black plastic zip tie and use it to add plastic if needed. Once done, the repair is stronger than it was before. I've repaired so many plastic parts using this method, including cracked or brital vehicle dash parts. Also, it doesn't ruin your soldering tips. It will clean off easily with the brass shavings that comes with most soldering kits.
For broken plastic I use some plastic cement made by dap. It comes with a primer pen and some gel glue. It bonds almost immediately and its absolutely as tough as nails. I use it on my scale bodies often
When I had my mojave I had problems with the front ring and pinion. Finally got it shimmed properly and the hot racing aluminum diff case fixed it after blowing 2 diffs in 2 days. You destroyed that one pretty good. I have one of those flex tools, had it for a couple years and just remembered it last week. What a big help it is.
I never new those are just a bigger version of a senton. I love my billing proof blx 3s senton! I see why it's so tough. Great bash I can't wait till spring to get back out. It's -19 degrees in michigan right now
That's one heavy rig!. Something I had to learn the hard way ($$$) was to not buy metal hop up parts unless absolutely necessary aka parts that break over and over. Keeping the rig lite weight is very important for launch control and high speed runs. Love your videos Exo.
Are you using aluminum diff cases ? 100 percent correct my freind , why you think truggified typhon was one best bashers built, people don't realize or they do and understand can be costly
Really enjoy watching you experiment while I'm designing custom bodies and paint schemes.. I am a Custom Body painter similar to Hemistorm if you've ever seen any of his videos? 😊 👍
Great video and tips. Nice explanation about front differential loads. What Diff configuration would you recommend or what where you driving on the Mojave? Thanks!
Hay bud, could I ask a quick question? Why wouldn't I have reverse braking on Castle XLX esc. Goes straight to forward at any speed during reverse braking. I had this same problem on a mmX esc. Thanks for sharing & your time.
I just got a arma Mojave 6s and my main gear small gear that gets the power just slid off and looking how to lock it in I don’t see no hole for a screw
Wow that diff was definitely broke lol. And the 22t its a perfect pinion for the 1650. Thats what i run and had no issues at all. Check out the dusty motor cover XXXL size, i use that on my mojave and even at the beach I barely had any sand inside, definitely worth the money.
Hey quick question i had a old associate of mines to installed the same motor and esc as yours. What gearing ratio are you running and do you have yours connected to castle diagnostic
People always say that arma is stronger than traxxas, they all break the same stuff. But I think that the traxxas stuff is easier to fix so far from my experience.
This vehicle is meant for racing and trail runs, how do people bend diffs etc. Monster trucks are bashing imo. First thing he does is drive the nose right into the ground lol.
Hands down my favourite unit , almost no broken parts , very reliable basher .
When I install new diffs on the Arrma metal chassis, I seal the bottom of the housing with a thin coat of rtv engine sealer to keep the junk out.

I've repaired atv plastics like that quite a few times! It works well!

Bigger version of sentón 3s blx? 🤣🤣 No f. Way you mean bigger version of the senton 6s blx

I love the mojave, I beat the tar out of mine and it just comes back for more. Keep up the awesome work!
The thing MOVES out!! Badass chasis

Hey man, really enjoy the vids!
The front diff probably takes a beating as it comes down from a wheelie, with power on full trigger.
Metal diff cases are a scarcity for the exb. Hope to find some… that will help in preventing your type of damage
Great one 👌
What about the rear rims?..
Do they hit the hubs?...
You should try Rapid Fix 2 part glue system. Is glue and a power. Can build up material and drill and tap it.

"oh my god it's so thick ! " lmao out of context it sound weird
that's what she said! LOL!
🤣 that diff was trashed! Guess 8s was tough on it. Nice video, love the Mojave 🤩
Ok, does Arrma not sell an assembled front differential?

I think I have the 20t pinion and yeah I set the esc up for the truck
M2c hardened cups are a necessity. Waaay better than stock
what are the rims?
vitavon
I hate it that there are no alu diffcups for the EXB
Vitavon makes them now. Look on eBay 29mm diff cup
I see you're playing in the Florida Mountains again.

that will buff right out

Lol staying out of the water eh lol!
My center diff looks similar
