Blown away b;y the attention to detail you have. This video is exactly what i needed to see to help me guide my own choices when selecting all the electronics and such for my build. Just bought the EXB version, super excited! Seriously well done on the segments within this video, answered many of my questions.

Likewise! Also, I love that the speed runs are done off road, it makes so much sense! Would love to have seen a couple of speed runs on the asphalt as well. Great filming and an awesome video.

Man, that thing is a BEAST! Personally, I would leave the center diff as is. With 8s, it would probably become uncontrollable, near impossible to keep the front down. Another great video, thanks!

Hmm... My stock Mojave motor and ESC gets up around 180°F (I would post up thermal images if could add them to comments). I'm guessing the massive heat sink + fan is the only reason 8S is even remotely possible. But it was nice to see what it could do with a bit more juice. Just not sure it's worth the squeeze since the stock system seems to get roughly the same top end.

@@ExocagedRC do they make larger cans in 6s size that's not just a KV change? I think I'd like to stick with 6S for simplicity (I run 12S systems in my big helicopter and I hate messing with multiple batteries). My big worry is that if the stock motor gets over 180°F it'll start to kill the stator wires. I'm probably going to look into a heat sink with a fan. It works well on the ESC (until it gets clogged with grass). So far I'm pretty happy with it even on 3S. I may buy some 4S packs that can eventually be used in a Kraton 8S if I decide to get one down the road.

I’m so stoked my Mojave is coming soon and I have a Kraton 8s system waiting for it. I wonder how it would do with 20M in the center diff?

The wheels plastic hex strips when you power up the Mojave. Common problem the plastic is to soft!

8s and 20T pinion that thing should be doing nearly 70 mph super easy. So what do u think the problem with it is?

Sick idea bro. Have you had any problem with the front or back diffs? And how's the center diff holding up?

Exocaged RC - I was hoping you would make a video with the Kraton motor in the Mojave and you did. Another amazing video. Question do you think the Castle Creations Mamba Monster X 8S would have gave it better top end and torque? If yes I think I want to pair up the Monster X 8s with the 1650kv motor. Which brand1650kv motor would you pick?

a 1650 of any brand would wake it up way more than you see in this video, I'm hoping to get the new Castle sensored 1650kv and monster x8s esc when thats released

So I think I’ve got it narrowed down for my next rc purchase. I’ll ask here though. Xmaxx or Mojave? I’ve got a trx4 trx6 slash modded to the moon and a granite blx.

Xmaxx and Mojave are two very different vehicles. The Xmaxx is by far the most fun with backflips front flips cartwheels and more.

@@ExocagedRC I’ve wanted an xmaxx since I got back into rc’s just figured I should start smaller. The Mojave looks so awesome and tough too it makes it tough.

Nice. I hope the stock diffs hold up with all that power. How about the tires? . 👍

yeah I'm a bit worried about them too, tires are also on my radar. I hopefully soon will have some vitavon aluminum cases for the diffs to keep them together

@@ExocagedRC How's this long term holding up? I have a MMX8S and 1717 motor on my EXB Mojave so I can run 8s on it if I want.
