@@CL2- Yes, she is overrated
@@ahmedabdullah8909sure she is, only 5 grand slams, 22 titles and only 110 weeks at no1, while being 23. I can name at least 20 players that are playing at the moment that have better stats 🤡🤡
@@ahmedabdullah8909 Explain Akkkmed how a multiple slam and hard court and indoor title winner is overrated? What does that say for the rest of the field?
Great match . Cingratulations for Julia 😊
Drop shot, lob. Drop shot, lob. Drop shot, lob. She got in Igas head. Sad to see for me bc I love iga
Swiatek is better when she’s up but when she’s down she seemed to be rattled mentally. I think that’s what she needs to improved on like many great champions.
Of course it's the mind. It's always the mind - with everybody!
@@ricklee5845 Not everybody
@@hpfme Of course everybody. Prove me wrong!
@@ricklee5845 some players have strong minds but weak body. Some great champions are mentally tougher than the rest. So not everybody.

yulia is an entertainer, never boring 🎉🎉
I am simply stunned! The world #1 had a short stay at Wimbledon. 😱😱
Good now she can rest before Olympics
Just like in 2023 and 2022. Why so stunned?
She can't play on grass.
It’s an interesting problem Iga has. If she keeps winning Roland Garros year after year her chances of improving on grass are not great. The Big 3 and Serena has made the transisition from clay to grass look much easier than it actually is.
Iga didn’t want to make her losing streak with Ostapenko 0-5
From this match, it's cleared grass is not Iga's finest point. Ashley Barty had to lose her smiles. 😢
@@tshavfengvang7831from this match? Lmao Iga said it long time ago she doesn’t like it
She cant win all year long bro for me she did it on purpose to have some rest, shes not a robot and got her own life thats just my opinion
As soon as Barty felt she is about to lose she retired from tennis so please stfu no one normal retires with no reason
She knew ostapenko was yoopiing next door
@@tambam6744 IGA is looking forward to Gold at the Olympics this year. She will have time to rest. Olympic Gold is more important than winning Wimbledon.
@@peterj5083 It’s not.
Iga plays one style and cannot deal with variety. Smart play Yulia.
Putintseva did a really good job, superb, congrats !
We have always pulled for Puntintseva. It's just her earthy doggone effort of giving anyone she plays trouble. What a determined temperament ! On any given day she can get it done, but what I'm really happy about is the well deserved recognition this match has finally given her. It's long overdue. Love her or dislike her, she is great for ratings. A very special competitor indeed. So thrilled.
I love Putintseva's genuine reaction. 🙃
It's not shocking. She only made the QF at Wimbledon once.
indeed, I am afraid she never learn playing grass. She improved serve but playstyle has same like @ clay and hard. Thats wrong. Good grass player always win with her.
Putintseva is a very smart and different player, she make's the difference in women's tennis
Niedowierzanie.. kolejny zastanswiający rozmiar i styl porażki Igi 🇵🇱🎾🎈.. Gratulacje Julia, 😎🇵🇱🖐️
Iga, toca disfrutar un poco de la vida y descansar. Te lo has ganado. Deseando verte en pista de nuevo. GRANDE❤❤❤❤
Well for the case of Yulia Putinseva it's third time "lucky" this season against Swiatek 👏👏👏👏👏👏 This will certainly feel good in the morning for the Kazakh 🙂😲😲 As for Swiatek who hasn't lost a match since Stuttgart 😳😳 Will certainly reflect on how to improve her grass court game if she's to win this tournament one day
I'm not surprised. Iga game is very one dimensional and mostly suited for the slow bounce on clay.
Iga Cocky Swiatek is OUT and I'm loving it! 😂
spintech
I wish Ash Barty kept playing, there is no one else that possesses a versatility of shots anymore. Iga might be number 1, but outside of clay she is just too one dimensional using her sheer power of baseline shots to blow players off the court (which evidently doesn’t always work on grass)
This wasn’t a surprise. Iga is always vulnerable on grass. Fast courts are not her friend.
Yulia is the definition of fearless! I LOVE IT!!
Mission accomplished for Iga. Congrats 🎉 to Yulia.

Awesome match. A tribute to determination.
Yulia's tennis skills are impeccable throughout her career and Iga's sourness too. She has never clapped a beautiful point of any opponent and Yulia deserved it.
Yulia played almost perfectly in second and third. Last match of those ladies was on clay and it was 6-0, 6-0 to Iga. It's a long road...till Iga will figure out grass. But! In three matches Iga three times have more aces than her opponent. Her serve game is improving fast.
😳Iga Swiatek is unstoppable...Well, most of the time. Congrats Yulia Putintseva❗
Not on grass
well, she got her a.. on grass here ... # stopped!
Some of her fans are eating humble pie today! They’re actually nicer online today!!!😅❤
Yes! Tomboy in WTA is ousted 👍
@@angelmorilla7484 what does this mean?
Using the drop shot is effective against Swiatek, who has the strongest strokes but is not very good at net play.
Yulia Putintseva is the giant killer for sure! Swiatek did not know what was happening until it was to late!
As long as Iga is brilliant on clay and wins tournament after tournament, she will never learn grass. She will always have to rest for a week or two after RG and will not have time to prepare for Wimbledon.
True but she said after match she didnt rest enough eventhough she didnt play any tournaments after RG 🤔
@@deancorso4212 but for me thats wrong...for me problem is her playstyle, I am 100% sure that even if she rest 2-3 months more she still lose that match. Grass need change her playstyle, have to play more smart and she cant accept that. She play exactly same like other surfaces.
@@mrmax7348 agree 100% she needs to learn slices volleys net play

Swiatek won here when she was a junior... but when she turn pro this is her worst surface.

Is Yulia the new giant slayer now that Cornet has retired?
Yulia onfire
I think Iga feel not okay... I think she's sick.
The surprising part is Iga won the 1st and Yulia won the 2nd & 3rd sets 1 & 2. Yulia is a tough player but I would not guessed she sent Iga home with a 1 & 2. Thats not easy.
The match was incredible!
Putintseva raised her game and power many notches that threw Swiatek off balance!
Sorry 😢to see Iga not move forward to the next round of play. Grass isn't her surface to excel on. Iga needs to become a better player on the surface. She will have plenty of time to practice for the Olympics on her favorite surface clay.
Looking forward to seeing her advance and win some Gold!
Iga Świątek ❤️🇵🇱
Well this does not surprise me. Grass is her worst surface.
Юля ты супер! Это бешенный результат❤
Strange that Iga's coach is also Radwanska's coach. Radwanska is quite good on grass. Maybe because Iga lack of shot variety.
Iga's achilles heel is grass.
Not such a great surprise, on a good day Putinseva can outplay Iga on grass bc she still has more variety and can break an opponent's rythm
This was a shocker.

Yulia aprovecho de los errores de Iga, y tomo confianza.. Y. Gano.. Lastima..
the way Yuila set up every play she could tell iga is not ready for that drop serve then gets a easy winner everytime so nice
So happy for Yulia! well deserved!
Can't win them all. I don't think she'd get past Ostapenko in the next round anyway. Congrats Yulia.
