I'm 45 bruh and what you said is factz..... just know, many of us have multiple loses that can place us in grind mode at 30, 40, and 50's. I am grinding now unfortunately. But, I have some fortune on my side. Some necessities are manifesting. The Universe is our protector. New Subb here
You need a lot more than a LLC & DOT for “INTERSTATE”. I’m doing box truck. For interstate. It requires DOT, MC, BOC, MS & commercial insurance that must be active before the FMCSA will activate your authority. And you have to keep that insurance active continuously. Commercial insurance is anywhere from $1800-$5000 DOWN then $1300-$2600 PER MONTH. And as a new authority, you HAVE to keep these expenses even though most brokers will not use you until you’ve been active 180 days. Can yall afford $5k down & $2k a month for 6months before you get your first load? If not, keep working & saving. These expenses don’t even include the cost of your truck payment or rental payment PLUS gas AND maintenance expenses. (If buying)
I like the fact that people do be focused on the wrong stuff and fighting amongst each other for what’s at the bottom. I’ll be cocky and sit back and laugh.
The amount they pay a Day is different when you break down the number of hours it takes to do the job.i charge $250 for two hours to load or unload a moving Job, anything after two hours I charge $75
im not going back a forth with you but i think you may have brokers and dispatchers confused. a dispatcher is an employee of the broker as well unless you have your own dispatcher. but as a dispacther 7-8% is their standard
@@hoodrichjdtkeep getting contracts and stacking them you don’t need to go OTR. I’m in my minivan doing 4k-5k a week. Look into getting medical contracts
