  • This is a track I've composed for a scene from The Two Towers that didn't appear in the movie trilogy. If you haven't seen the original video with the narration by Andy Serkis, I recommend doing so: • Scoring the Unadapted ...

I really like the fact that you took inspiration from that scene in The Two Towers where the final note of the Shire Theme is held until it sounds ominous, signaling Gollum's presence & his oncoming theme. It's so satisfying to hear when two themes melt into each other this seamlessly. It also reminded me of your elegant solution to the rescored "Farewell Dear Bilbo" scene that incorporates a great transformation from "The Seduction of the Ring" into "Dreaming of Bag End" motif - that time the atmosphere was the other way round, from worrisome to warm. Either way, it's so great to hear!

I love both the music and the way it is described. They are both top tier

Sorry, but the main reason I release these videos is because people want to hear the music without talking, so that would defeat the purpose...

3:24 Why are there unison whole notes in the last two bars? I've seen something like that before, but I don't get it.

The viola melody (doubled by violin an octave higher) plays in the same register as the clarinet chord, which muddles it a bit.
