So how I’m doing this is $400 if you book me as the dj and $500 if you don’t. I’m charging $100hr if I’m not the dj. So In the situation of the engagement party they actually had it from 6-11pm. I want to come up with a package deal where you can have it for your engagement party, bridal shower, or other event before the wedding and then have it for the wedding as well. Basically do a discount for booking it for multiple events.
I package mine with my dj services for $400 for the duration of the event. $500 for 3hrs if it’s not packaged. I have a second gen iPad Pro. The salsa come with the faceplate for the newest iPad Pro model. If you want to use the older iPad you’ll need to buy the faceplate separately from their website.
I have a jet pack from Verizon to use for WiFi. In the occasions I don’t have service on that it saves the pictures and sends them once internet is available. Also at the end of the gig I send a link to the client that contains all the photos.
We do those bangers in the woods so you know a few if our venues have sketchy at best services...I'm now trying to convince my wife this is a needed add on to the business!

However for me I’ve owned other iPad booths and seen many in person. so far this one has been the best designed, build quality, ease of use, the app is almost dummy proof. Me being a DJ business owner and not a photobooth business owner I think this is the best option I’ve seen for people in my situation. The look and design of the booth itself sells. Clients think it looks elegant and wedding worthy.

At $100 more per gig it would take 20 gigs to generate the extra $2000 additional cost this unit is over competition or about 1 year return of investment for most small companies that do around 20 booths a year. I am talking financial sense, not does it look great, because it does look nice no doubt. as far as design? it doesn't even have a user adjustable tilting head and you think it is a good design? Other ring light booths have a centered gimble bracket so that users can can just push it up or down.
6:40 internal fan is not needed. ipads do not get hot!!! therefore no advantage, just silly marketing. any phone left in the sun overheats, false analogy. Macbooks use different procesosrs that are faster and generate heat, again false analogy.

If your running it throughout the entire night how long does the iPad usually last before the battery dies?
The iPad is plugged into the booth so it has a constant power source.

You have to go in and pair it to the iPad through Bluetooth. It’s in the salsa settings.

too expensive and will not make you anymore money than a booth that costs thousands less. bad investment IMHO.
