Thank you! I currently have the Pro plan, I’m paying annually to save. If just starting out, I would recommend the basic plan pay per month then convert to annually if you have consistent futures bookings.

Sorry for late response. I actually had to assemble the booth! Haha. 1.63 meters so thats about 5.4 ft
You can use the Salsa App with diff booth but features like the led lights wont be functional. Plus its 1 app license per booth 👍🏻

In our area , My package starts at 3 hr and i Offer an all night package ( rent for the whole reception for wedding ). Their company has resources too for those who needs deciding about pricing structure , they have educational vids and tips how to price. It just happens I’m also a photographer so I package this to my services and familiar with photobooth biz :)

Yes. And can be accessed anywhere using browser.
I currently don’t have a printer set up for this booth, since I have another photobooth that does prints only.
But I could if I wanted to, however I have to use a different printer with airprint or wireless

It is a feature that’s available however I currently don’t have it setup on this booth. I have a separate photobooth that I market for printing. I won’t have the best answer but based on what I have seen in our group, they have set up to use wireless DNP printer.

For overlays Yes, if you upload multiple overlays then guests will be prompted to select overlays. If you uploaded just one, then no prompts and it will automatically use the default.
No selection for photo collage. This can only be set by us or photobooth operator before the photobooth starts
I heard the newest iPad front camera is grainy at times. I want the best quality camera in an iPad- any recommendations?
While really there isn’t one at this time, Additional led lighting makes the quality better when you set up any booth. I use 2 led lights beside the built in lighting

Although you can since it works with iOS, the ring light on the Salsabooth will not work as it only connects thru their own app

Hey man I appreciate the video. Do you have to stay with the equipment at the event or is it possible to set it up and leave it with the customer and then pick it up when they are finished?
Hi, welcome! You can but It depends on the type of party. I wouldn’t if there were kids, lol. Part of my contract is they will have to pay damage fees. But right now I’m paying $30-50/hr for someone to pick up the booth in my house, set it up, keep an eye on it then deliver back to my house (my younger cousins lol). So you don’t have to do it yourself.

They have a free template available on their site. including pricing, marketing materials, pretty much eveything to get you started :)
is it easy to replace the LEDs incase it goes out?
Led are proprietary. I had to send back to them when it happened to mine and I got it in 5 days, depends wherever you are. But that’s pretty fast, I shipped in Toronto

Hi, while I don’t offer prints for this booth package, I’m using DNP Rxhs1 for my other photobooth, you will still need to get the additional wireless adapter to connect wirelessly if you want to connect to this photobooth
If the booth is in a normal lit room or daytime are the extra lights still necessary? For darker rooms are they always necessary? I would like minimal set up as possible, but still need the pics to turn out good. Are you saying if we are only doing small prints on the spot that the lights wouldn’t matter much?

Hi, Extra lights are highly recommended for indoors. Period. Even with normal lit rooms. The ringlight wont be enough especially if there are groups of people. Check out my other videos where I have a set up on site.
If prints are 4x6 you may not see the grainy images too much only upon close inspection. The issue is the ipad not the photo booth, so definitely need light for indoors.
I had issues with the led light flickering (very minor) and thought I had to ship to US. Good thing there is one here in canada. Whew! It was covered, I don’t have extra warranty. Their team responded very quick.
@@ZyberFlix so if I do the extra lighting would the printed pics not turn out grainy? 2x6 to 5x7? Unfortunately my clientele will want printed pics

in theory yes, as long as you have bright lights, less grainy on images, not perfect but they much better without extra lights

I haven’t tried customizing the tap here screen since I’m happy with the ones that came with it out of the box. I believe there are official instructions on the app itself but I haven’t played around with it myself. Sorry

If money no object, essentials is way to go. It just happened that I already have backdrops and stands and a team that does videoshoot to make a promotional video. So the other features/extras i bought separately.

You can use diff apps! The only difference is the led integration will not work.

It will but only steady. Unlike if you have their own app, the led changes color and syncs and only goes full bright only when taking photos.

It’s a little bit more compared to others. I wish they had a trial version. Honestly the basic plan is good enough vs their pro plan. At first I thought it wasn’t worth it but as time goes by a lot of improvements are happening so I’d say it good. You’ll save annually just like other subscriptions. I recently subscribed to a pro plan on my latest video to try out. But I wouldn’t suggest the pro plan unless it’s a feature you want to market.

There’s a lot of potential with the pro that I haven’t tried yet like virtual booth, green screen etc. I sub to pro just to try it. Lol. My recent Events had pay it off anyways. They have a new booth but costs around $8k usd. Lol. Should be on the same link. Thanks.

DNP RX-HS1 is the model I use
I know the Ipad pretty much stays on pretty much the entire time. Have you had any issue with it just being on?
So far none! The booth has a fan built in to keep it cool. I had clients who rented it for whole day, approx 8 hrs. When im not using the booth I use my Ipad for other stuff 😅 just make sure you set the settings back accordingly.

I saw your using 12.9 I bought a 11in do you think the smaller size will be a huge effect on client experience?
If it does it probably is not a huge difference. You can still get a used or upgrade to a 12.9 and get a new face plate if you feel it does. But I personally like the 12.9

My whole setup right now is close to 5k including ipad pro 12 and premium backdrops
ugh it's so expensive. have to buy your own ipad, have to pay for a celullar subscription, then have to pay for the app monthly. on top of that, packages for the setup already cost like $4k more or less depending on which one you get.
They could be, but just like all startup business ROI could take years depending on how many bookings youve got. This setup is a more of a niche setup compared to a typical photobooth
How do you deal with the internet .?
Hi, It’s in my contract. I have a questionnaire if the venue has wifi or not. If not sure, they can avail my mobile hotspot tethered to my phone for a fee. The screen also shows it may take 24 hours for them to receive via text or email. Alternatively they can use airdrop for iphone users, which does not require cellular
I decided to purchase my own hotspot, and I use my iPhone as a backup (for wifi). I like to have my own internet/wifi/hotspot.
