Maybe by checking the color of the oil ? One thing is clear the car run and shift nicely, it has 94k on it .... I bought it with 75k on it at a local dealership! What do you think ??
Check the transmission oil dipatick on the driver side, not passanger side. if the oil color is red and clear, that means your transmission oil still good, if the transmission oil turn dark even black and smell fishy that means the transmission oil goes bad. Pull the transmission dipstick and wipe with a clean towel, check the color and smell it. You will know if the oil goes bad or not.

I got Lexus rx 330 with no record on the transmission fluid. Miles 220k look little dark red. What can be happening if I’ll change the fluid and the filter? Can it damage the transmission?
If you have no record for the transmission fluid change, I will recommend not to replace the transmission fluid. Replacing with new transmission fluid can cause the transmission slipped. This is because the old transmission fluid already contained clutch material from being in there over time and can actually be helping the transmission to still shift gears.
@@agungwibawaAR15 thank you for the answer… the fluid doesn’t look black but more of dark red. Recently due to cv Axel replacement some of the oil got out and I topped the same amount back and looks like the transmission is still the same does it means that it might be safe to replace/flush all?

No you don't need to put any grease on the gasket if you use oem toyota gasket, make sure you clean well the metal surface before installing the new gasket.
Could be perfect if you count 10 seconds every gear before transfering to another gear. As automatic transmission fluid flows throughout an automatic transmission, it flows under varying levels of pressure, levels that are determined by engine load and various gear selections. So by counting 10 seconds on every gear will let the transmission fluid flows under varying levels of pressure.
