    I had seen this before and liked it. Well, it happened. I bought a design and omg, it had a bunch of wild jump stitches in it. Jeanette, you saved my project and mind! Thank you for your wisdom!

    I succeeded today (10/16/2021) removing horrible and many jump stitches from a new design thanks to your teachings. Why oh why do the digitizers put them in and in such weird places? To me it's common sense to NOT put so many of these stitches in. But I just got them out thanks to Jeanette. Yay!

    This is great to learn how to remove those jump stitches. I have one design in particular where the digitizer went crazy with jump stitches. The jump stitches were very long but stopped/stitched every 1/2" or less! There were awful to remove especially on towels. I do have a question though: how does the design then get to the next color without those jump stitches?

    • @Theneedleartnook
      @Theneedleartnook 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The machine stops and moves to the next location and chooses the next color without having to drag that other thread with it. :)

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to make sure you add the stop. when you are removing the jump stitches.

    🤩🙏 tfs - this was fun & interesting to watch! Wondering if my little PE Brother embroidery machine has this capability if I buy the software 🤔
    Time will tell & I’ll upgrade as needed.
    Thx again.

      Hi Quiltedbrownie. It will be the same. The embroidery software is run on your computer. You transfer the design using your flash drive to the machine.

    Hi. Nice tut. Thanks. My problem is needing to insert a Stop (for a color change). I think your method of locating a specific area in the stitching using the Simulator will allow me to do this. Thanks. Fingers crossed. Thanks, too, for giving me the link to this vid. Much appreciated. ❤️

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you are correct. You should be able to insert a stop and change the color. Thinking I should find a design and create a video doing just that. I'm sure other people would love to learn this as well.

    Thank you so much! May I ask, what about the thread type? For example, I had someone digitize an image for me. When I loaded it into Embrillance, The thread type was Wilcom but that thread choice was not available in my “thread” drop down. So now I have Wilcom on some stitches and Madeira on others. Will that be a problem?

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tonya. No it wouldn’t be. The only thing you have to watch out for is the thread wt. The brand doesn’t matter.

    Jeanette? what file do I use? I click on pes but the jump stich does not show. but I click the xxx file I see the the jump stitch. and I have a 4 x 4 brother machine? and I don't see my Gold frame that you have on the Embrillance 😩

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Eve, to see the hoop in embrillance you need to make sure to have this view on. You need to select View/Draw Hoop. This will display the hoop on your screen. I use the PES file. If you see the jump stitches then just follow the steps I do on the video. Be sure to STOP the stitch so the machine will do a try at the end of it.

    • @jilliej7
      @jilliej7 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BoricuaSewingCrafts See in View that I can click Jumps. In this Essentials, on applique, when I click where you say to click, then click stop then change color to black, the black continues forward, it doesn't change the before color like you show in embroidery sample. Also the jump stitch doesn't show up in my Property when I add the black, (well it shows the black that continues in the design.) My Essentials is up to date. Sure I’m not doing something. Love this video. Watched so many times! LOL

    How about gaps between stitches Jeanette. It is so terrible when a design is beautifully stitched and there is a gap in it ruining the design. I know it is the digitizer's problem but is there a way or you can only do it in enthusiast. It's annoying.

    • @BoricuaSewingCrafts
      @BoricuaSewingCrafts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Visi, In embrilliance you can zoom into the design and see if there are gaps. If you see them you can increase the stitch comp to that area.
