Thank you so much for posting this! So helpful! I have one question, however. Why do we click SPLIT and not DELETE? What does DELETE do?

Thank you, Lynn. I am glad I was able to help. I like to split a stitch if I feel there are too many jumps. In this design, the jump stitches were like running stitches, so that made it really difficult for me to pull them out after it was embroidered, or I might want to change the order and separate the colors. The bears were grouped in a strange way, and this program allowed me to make it so that it was a lot more organized. In this design, the jump stitches were like running stitches. You can use the delete button to remove unwanted stitches, and I have seen several in many designs.

I can try to assist you. It might be a little difficult without being able to see the design.

How do u save it after you delete the jumps, all the color went out from the design, I did all the splitting, and don't know what step to do next.

Cutflower, once you have completed deleting the jump stitches, all you have to do is click on the "Close" button twice to exit out of the cutting tool bar.

After clicking the "close" button 2x, your changes will have been made. You will need to save your new changes by selecting the "Save As" button.

@@cutflower36 Yes, you have to click "Split". If you click "Delete", the image will disappear.

@@cutflower36 when you are in the "Cutting Tool" mode, some of the colors will be greyed out because they have been split and are not highlighted.

Why do some designs haveall them jump stitches in them? Trying to clean up after is no fun.

Sometimes you will get a design that was put together by a novice digitizer.
