Accolades to you for attempting such an intricate kit with lots of PE and scratch build and doing a great job. It's been worth the wait so keep them coming. I'll await the next notification bell to see what's next on the bench.
Just built a 15" cardboard model of Soryu, may not have all that detail, but didnt turn out bad either . Its funny if you go online, youll never find exactly the same tiny details on any pictures, so i guess its ok to look around and just pick what looks best to copy.
*Actually i build the old Revell Genisenau in 1/600 scale, congrats for your skill, you did a real good job! I notice a brush to apply superglue, great!*
My dads Carrier sank this one at Midway.Rumor says they cannot find the deck plans for a good 1/350 scale version of this one.I have all the Carriers that were at Pearl Harbor,Coral Sea and Midway in 1/350 except this one and the Shoho, so I'm hoping.🙏
@@Francis915Emoji Don't know if it will work, some glues can leave nasty resedue or damage the model or paint , i never used UHU , i used wood glue , it dries clear and you can clean it easy if you make a mistake
Excellent work! I noticed the Flyhawk set was for the 1938 kit. Were you still able to use the Flyhawk set for the 1941 kit? From what I can tell, there were some minor modifications to the island/bridge, but the Flyhawk set focuses below the flight deck.
You said near the beginning of the video, that you use tamiya x22 as glue for PE? Is that even possible? Great build by the way, your skills in the modifications is 👍
Magnificent work in deed. Just those planes...

I WOULD NOT ENDEAVOUR TO BUILD A WARSHIP MODEL SMALLER THAN 1 = 350 , HOWEVER YOUR BUILD AND DIORAMA IS EXCELENT

Nice idea, and quite a vivid diorama.
Outstanding job. Really enjoyed that!
Great work on the ship, sir
I had a model like this of the Soryu, but I left it in the same room as my Yorktown model, and the next day it was gone.
I bet headmod stole it
Underrated comment lol

Very nice build, like always.

No one I've watched said in the description how long it took to start & finish their builds. Build time?
are the tools included in the box?
Great job adding after market and scratchbuilt details. Ship and seascape are brilliant. Bill
Hello? I have a question how can i stick up the plane on a all finished deck?😅😊
Sure, i glued mine with the white glue on deck
@@Headmod thx i think what you suggest are a normal living glue but not a model glue😀
@@Headmod how about UHU ?

Yes you can use the Set for the 1941 kit, not all of the Photoetched parts, but the most .
Thank you!
