The funniest part of this movie is that the people who made it unironically live by the King James bible. You know the one a king paid to have written to make the word of God better fit with his agendas? Keeping that in mind how can this movie not be art?

B, the fantasy about this movie is based around that of people who think it’s such relevant satire that people are trying to persecute the Bible. Just saw your review of this movie. You did a great job! Thos movie, from what I understand of why some YA Dystopias went downhill because the government was evil but for one dimensional reasons. I mean, The Book of Daniel and The Book of Esther kinda read like Dystopians for believers. Maybe one day someone competent will adapt them into that: Biblical Dystopians and MAYBE we'll finally get some Christian awesome movies without them being so doggone terrible!

I wish these christian movies were written by people who had some actual background in the history of the bible, or even the history of christianity in general. Like, this premises but within a world experiencing a major religious schism, where the protagonists are working for one sect against another, could be fascinating. Have the other side as a direct state-sanctioned sect and show all the inherent problems with that. Like, there's a ton of stuff that you could do with the idea, but given the people behind these kind of movies have no motivation outside of simple propaganda, they ultimately just wind up being disappointing.
