If someone refused a random. Completed the SAP BUT is no longer employed at a dot sensitive job (mechanic now) but want to go back to work . He has no job to RTD to.. if he gets hired on at a trucking company and does a PRE employment drug test. Does that work as a RTD. And will it then be green light in the clearinghouse
Question....I'm not entirely well-versed in the procedure, but was asked to be an observer once (separate from the collector). I was just told that I was supposed to watch the urine leave the patient's male anatomy. The patient was very difficult and belligerent, and handed me the cup after filling up to the line, so that he can pull his pants up. Later the patient said we weren't following protocol because the cup is supposed to be held by the patient the entire time. He basically set us up to fail. Is he correct? Did we breach protocol by holding the cup for the patient while still in the restroom?
With Canada and several states legalizing cannabis recreationally, federal legalization will be here soon. How close is a test for actually being "under the influence" of cannabis be ready as opposed to current testing that just identifies past use?
Im on my second piss test the first one was hard when you have a collector staring at your one eye !!!! I dont know why they just cant strip ya down then let you pee by yourself

This is one that the industry has spent many years attempting to quantify, but it is like attempting to nail jello to the wall to make such a determination. Even the experts vary widely on their estimates, so I am hesitant to provide an exact figure. The nature of the "false positive" makes it nearly impossible to quantify inherently. The good news is, there are medical professionals involved in most drug testing procedures whose job it is to weed out false positives from actual positives. These are Medical Review Officers. Hello Hiram. Yes, collectors can easily identify Quick Fix through the donor's behavior, the temperature of the specimen, smell, and lack of bubbles/foam. Collectors can also test for nitrates using an adulteration test.
