The entire reason I watched this video was to see how you rerouted a dual drain to a single. That was 16min of my life I'll never get back. It's not a bad video. It just is missing pretty crucial info on the conversion.
@@parallaxdecisionall you gotta do like the guy in the video did is buy new tubing and remove all the old tubing and just try to route it into the new drain hole , it can be a pain if it’s your first time but it’s just screwing parts together and taking your time
I want to do this but im trying to figure out the plumbing part, it wouldve been great if you were to share how yours was done since we have similar setups
Dropping in a sink, then securing and waterproofing it is mechanically kind of basic. Converting the plumbing from a 2 drain sink to a single right sided drain is what I would have liked to have seen when watching this video. Instead that was covered by hearing that it took quite a bit of finessing. Is this a backdoor advertisement?
I know this video is older but I'm hoping you're still on here. I installed this same set but my faucet doesn't stay in the middle, it slowly drifts to the side. And if I try to push it to the side it doesn't stay, it drifts back towards the middle. Does yours do this? Do you know how I could fix it? I tightened everything I could think of.
so how is the sink doing today? how is the water draining with this particular sink? are you still enjoying it? (I'm debating on this brand or a kraus brand one) thanks for info
Dude,,today I did mine,it was painful. Supposedly it's the same size, but hell no,I have to use the jigsaw, all the dust and the mess. Piping you asked? Forget it, multiple trips to HD to get it right. Started at 12 pm finish 7. Mine was 40 years old sink, piping all a mess.
Have you ever tried CLEANING a square corner kitchen sink??? I have ones' in commercial kitchens (and necropsy suites!!!) and you spend TEN TIMES as much time and effort on the *@ CORNERS than a rounded corner sink! I also WILL NOT HAVE a porcelain kitchen sink in my house! Momma had one until I was 11 and from age three 'til 11 MY JOB was Babbo-ing the sink WHITE. I want a new fiberglas bathtub as my Grandad ruined the finish on my 1/2 ton cast-iron tub 45+years ago. (The plumber's helper hit it with a 30 pound "Monday Maker" [swing it ten times and it feels like MONDAY] sledge and it WOULD NOT BREAK!!! "$3500+ to take it out...") But I remember the FIRST time we had the UGLY, UNCOMFORTABLE "Modern" furniture too! NO THANKS! Classic traditional (comfortable) or it don't come in my house!!!
all i wanted was the drain re-route...
Great video. It would have been nice if you would have shared your thought process on rerouting the new drain pipe and plugging off the second one.
Next time
That is what I was looking for, I will find a how to video on that
@@Coconutoilcrazy did you ever find one?
@@megankirtner9012 No I didnt
Poor info
Just made the same sink exchanges! I'm really glad I did. I can now wash anything in the larger sink with comfort.
Did you hook up a garbage disposal, or without similar to his setup?
@@Hajjat hooked up a garbage disposal but had to adjust the drainage

You have a pretty sink. After watching your video I wish I still knew how to install one.
I just installed this exact sink and used this video to help me do it successfully! Thank you so much!!!
Putting in a one piece faucet in one hole. I now know how! Thanks
Informative up to the point that you completely skipped. Rerouting the drain pipe. This is what I'm dealing with.
At the end I was thinking wheres the garbage disposal but overall good video👍
I don't have one, nor do I want the cost/headache of adding one. Electrical and just one more thing to break.

You answered my question great video
Great video.
Did you had a dishwasher line and or a garbage disposal?
Seriously? I watched the whole video for the drain part and you skipped it? Omg
Me too 😡😡😡😡😡 what a waist

Ditto 🤬
Saved me time, thank you.
@@berzley I wish I had had the foresight to read the comments before watching the video. Lol
I WAS LOOKING FOR HOW YOU RE PLUMBED TO 1 DRAIN
Smart buying a sink with an offset drain so that pots and pans won't block it.
Keith! I didn't want you to miss this! 😂
James the bike guy 👍
Indeed
I am getting this exact sink. Thank you for this video because it answered quite a few questions I had. Great job!
what brand of sink is it?
This was a great and very informative video! Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks

WHY WOULD YOU SKIP THE MOST IMPORTANT PART?
How is that sink working out? Also can you hook up a garbage disposal to that one drain?
Yes you can
Thank you for the step by step tutorial👍🙏🏽
step by step?--the most important steps were skipped.
Good video. Wonder if my garbage disposal connects on single drain. Going from two drain with disposal on left to one drain like this sink.
Does it support a garbage disposal?
No garbage disposal installation while at it?
Can you please drop me link for the faucet?
THAT IS EXACTLY MY OLD SINK

It's still installed, beautiful and we really like it. Definitely very high quality, and happy we bought it
What gauge stainless is the sink?
Hi my friend how much you charge for a job like that
$85-$125 plus parts
No garbage disposal?
Not in my house.
That kinda looks like my sink😅

that cheap thin walled stuff is not up to code here in Florida

Most women prefer the divided sink for some reason.
I didn't give this a thumbs up for the same reason that I've noticed othet comments.
Can you come and install my new sink
This video is why we need 👎 back
