For new players watching this as a guide, please note that the weapon information is outdated. To add to the preceding point, almost all snipers with "fixed scopes" can be upgraded to have variable zoom. Regarding armors, belt slots are really important at the end game. You stats will mostly come from artefacts. As a general rule, it is best to pick the highest BR class with most slots (AFTER upgrades). That will almost always mean ISG and Merc variants, especially for medium, heavy, and Nos armors. The monolith exoskeleton is decent if you want something quick or don't know what you are doing.
also hijacking this comment to say that the "expensive" craft heavy armor kit is absoutley worth it. it looks expensive but if you craft up from the base stuff you buy from T1 traders its not nearly as expensive as it looks. i have not played for quite some time but iirc i only had to spend 50-70k to get the extra stuff that i needed. having better armor beforehand makes going to radar or outskirts to seek expert tools alot easier.
I can only agree with this. Artifact crafting is by far the most important part actually because of the massive benefits it gives, therefore an armor with more belt slots is always top priority. My typical loadout is Heart of the Oasis 55%, Full Empty 100%, Volat Emerald 100% for artifact hunting, Moonlight or Lobster eyes 100% because Psy Resistance is extremely important (This is also why I prioritize Full Empty over Compass even though Compass offers more physical resistance) and upgraded kevlar plates. In terms of heavy armor, the ACE mercenary suit is by far the best and is arguably better than some exosqueletons because of it's elemental resistance and belt slots. UNISG exo and clearsky exo are the best in my opinion, only beaten by Nosorogs.
I know you already finished the run but here’s some tips from my experience in gamma: Generally mechanics offer the best prices for anything you can sell to them (they dont buy a lot of loot tho), and consumables except medicine is best to sell to bartenders. Crafting heavy armor kit is not that expensive with advanced tools, you can do it under 100k which is totally worth it if you have the money, resources and armors you can upgrade. Getting artifact melters and crafting high tier artifacts such as full empty, compass and volat emerald will help you a TON and you will shrug down bullets easily. It is much better to make artifacts this way instead of selling them for relatively low amount of money.
In all my playthroughs I generally by around 10 artifact melters, because indeed artifacts are just so OP. Crafting a Volat emerald first is always my top priority, to help me hunt all the other artifacts. My typical loadout is Heart of the Oasis 55%( no need to go for higher), Full Empty 100% (In my opinion Full Empty is better than Compass because psy resistance is extremely important), Volat Emerald + Flash for artifact hunting, Moonlight for extra psy resistance, fully upgraded kevlar plate...
@@antonyapostolov8252 oh yeah me too because I don’t want to melt any artifacts I might need later. However I do it a bit differently. Usually first I craft a maxed out full empty because I play ironman and it can save a life. I usually repair an sp-99 variant suit and get some medicore artifacts that boosts anomalous protections and use them according to the type of anomalous field im walking into so I can hunt more. And also deal with Aslan in dead city with 15 batches of patches
@@viktorkovacs5873 That's exactly what I do aswell :D I always keep a merc disguise to trade with Aslan. I also only play ironman, but sometimes a sp-99 suit is hard to find. Actually in my last playthrough as Military, I found one only super late in the game and I didn't need it anymore :D
Ecologists sell and buy for the highest price; Any attachments, grenades and sellable loot will go for the best price to Sakharov at Yantar (and any other scientist trader)
Hey Cheeki, I am almost positive you are thinking of the wrong keybind for switching scopes. You get the alternate scopes with the grenade launcher key. The "switch" scopes key detaches/attaches a scope to a gun. I could be wrong ofc, but if you can switch to the grenade launcher on a wep, alt scope should work too. Otherwise, it is also possible that something may have gone wrong in the modpack installation.
There is an optional mod in the Gamma mod pack list for going through a companion's equipment list. It's supposedly not stable but you could turn it on and give Lt. No-Fun there his machine gun if you want to XD
on the current gamma build at least the switching scopes keybind in the mcm is a different mod. to switch to canted sights you have to press the grenade launcher toggle key it also works on weapons that dont have canted sights like certain sniper rifles and even some pistols and works really well if your weapon comes with a laser sight (long press flashlight key) love your videos cheeki your channel is the reason i started playing anomaly!
There are multiple sets of documents in call of Pripyat. Only 1 set is needed for Anomaly, I expected it to be in the flooded room with the sunken square area in the middle. Maybe Gamma changes that? Mysteries Of The Zone (not Living Legend) in the old Call of Chernobyl mod has more than 1 I think. If you want to do MOTZ in Anomaly the quest has to be enabled by editing an ltx file or with a mod fom ModDB called "MotZ_dialogue_unlocker", it won't break anything just adds more Quests. I think the Lab X8 Quest in MOTZ will make more Documents available to you. So, perhaps you saw the other documents in COC or COP.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but you can buy Mauser rounds cheap and disassemble them into materials that allow you to craft both 7.62x51 and 7.62x54 ammo. Both very powerful rounds for most enemies. This Mauser ammo trick is a sustainable way to always have ammo for those platforms, and the only issue comes with having a sustainable way to have AP rounds. To solve that, you basically just go all in on 1 platform and disassemble all other AP for materials to feed that cartridge naturally.
@@Lusty_Wench that definitely works for a time, but purchasing AP all the time can get super expensive especially when facing lots of Monolith and because traders undercut you massively when selling ammo to them (and everything else). Mid to late game, money isn’t really an object so purchasing becomes a lot more viable. Also depends on how well a person can land their shots accurately and conserve ammo. If you’re working towards the wealthy client achievement (don’t remember if that name is correct), this method helps get it faster as well.
@@Lusty_Wench yeah, the reality is it’s likely not saving a ton of money in the short term. Long term probably but at that point, money is usually no concern. Early game though it’s still better to pick a caliber to stick with and disassemble all other AP cartridges for the bullet materials rather than selling because of the trader buying percentages.
I am currently at the end of the Mortal Sin (Murky Spirit run). I mostly use: Merc Pathfinder (BR48), now changed for the Hybrid for 5th slot. Never found the ACE. I found Nosorog twice, but then the game always crashed and the same body did not have it after load :(. I tried the nomal exo and I do not like it. The exo helmet. VSS MERC, MP7 in pistol slot, UMP for mutants, SVU (may change for SVD with Giperon scope) to headshot Sin as it can often overpower the shield or SA58 short / SR-25 if not going against Sin, just Monolith. For universal picantiny rail I like to use Leupold 1-8, for russian stuff the Giperon if available. I have that extra flexibility as Duty thanks to Clear Sky.
