Hi, i have a stock 09 RA now and i love how the borla catback sounds. Do you just install the Borla system or is there an upgrade on the test pipe or down pipe too?
It really depends on if you're in sport mode or not. It does drone in sport mode a bit but I just turn up the radio. It doesn't have to be really loud in order to drown the sound out. But it sounds so good I don't mind. You get used to it
Fred Reyes There's no ralliarts in my area and I'm stuck with a slug ES. The only thing I can think of is rebuilding an evo x or 8 and having one as a project car. i want to try and make the ES a little quicker in the meantime or sound a little less embarrassing
Steve Zamora it does drone at lower speeds. police are not as hard on modified cars as in other places. I have had them right behind me with no problem.

Wondering how she’s holding up two years later. Any transmission issues? Do you still own, if so how many miles? I own a 2014 ra, just curious as to how everyone’s holding up.
I've had the Borla exhaust for maybe 6-7 years now. Still sounds great to me. No transmission problems. I have had since new 2011. Car has 53k miles. No major problems
Andres Mendoza here they do that also stick a device in the exhaust pipe to test what's actually coming out. I think they are going to stop that soon though.

I agree. Everybody else in my area has ETS Extreme. I love the Borla cause it has a really deep tone to it. All the other exhaust such as Tomei Ti, Invidia N1 etc..make these cars sound like a blender.
Ultimate racing and MagnaFlow are a couple others that people get for some reason. But yes that deep sound is why I got it. 219ralli is my instagram. Are you on instagram? CPE is the closest sounding to borla I think. Well thanks for checking out my video

@@fredreyes9681 i just checked them on ebay where they are selling for nearly $2,000... There is no way i'm spending that much on these kits. But for those who know, it still kinda worth it compare to the other exhaust kit. Anyway thanks for the tips!

No upgrade needed. Just take the Old exhaust off and put on the new one 👍

Is this tuned with a cobb accessport? Just got a ralliart and was considering using cobb for the remap and tunes
It has been pro tuned using the Cobb access port. There is a huge difference in just using the Cobb access port alone.

Nope, totally different animal. Being a turbo. Different air flow. Would screw up your MAP sensor.

I bought from Vivid Racing a long time ago. So I'm not sure if they still sell them.

What liter engine is this & was this a full catback? 2014 Lancer se, I want this sound but no one mods the 2.4l family car
2.0 turbo Lancer Ralliart. It is a catback exhaust. Not sure you would get the same sound

I do believe Borla sells a single exhaust for the base lancers but I never actually heard what it sounds like. Good luck with your build 👍

Andres Mendoza yes it's the oem cat. in Indiana we have emissions test and without the cat i would fail.
