    Excellent video!! Could you please share a link to the exact GRS Mounting Plate, which we will need? Thank you!

      There are two you can choose from. It doesn’t have to be the GRS one.
      I like this one by Knew Concepts and it is 1/2 the price. www.micro-tools.com/products/350-110?aff=8
      Or the one by GRS is here: www.micro-tools.com/products/004-557?aff=8

    Good afternoon, Melissa. I'm considering purchasing the Easy saw. Can you tell me where I can get the lever you used in the small front v ? Much appreciated.

    I got the Easy Saw, and there are no instructions about the plexiglass plate that comes with it. Actually, there were no instructions at all. Can you please tell me what I am supposed to do with this part? Thanks!

    • @MelissaMuir
      @MelissaMuir  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is essentially there so you can customize it however you would like. You can drill holes to hold the small clamps and you can make the center hole as big or small as you want.

      @@MelissaMuircan you drill the plexiglass using a flex shaft drill? What tool would you use to make a large hole, say maybe 1.5”? Thank you very much. This video has me all ready to buy the Easy Saw but I’m trying to figure out which accessory to add. OH, also, where can I get that cool little soldering circle to use with the aluminum disk? You rock.

    Can you clamp it to your bench if you don't have a grs?

    • @MelissaMuir
      @MelissaMuir  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The mounting place doesn’t have to be GRS, there are some less expensive options, and there may be some other ways to attach it. I will ask the maker.

    Melissa, where would you say the easy saw sits in relation to your body?

    • @MelissaMuir
      @MelissaMuir  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the bench. I still want it cheat high, just like with my bench pin.

    45 years silversmithing and the hands work fine. $400 is just the start. Seems to require accessories and a Knew saw . Personally, I'm sticking with my $3 wooden bench pin
