Cooking tip for Marion: shitake mushrooms (and now I'm convinced all dried mushrooms) should not be soaked in boiling water. Use room temperature water for six hours. Muck better flavor and texture

I made a one pot lasagna traditional style and I couldn't believe how good it tasted. As for your version, open-minded cooks are the best! No limits unless you have allergies.

😂😂 Well I wasn't expecting that... So much fun! I seem to recall some ancient Roman recipes for lasagna are made a little like this. Lasagna is _much_ older than the modern Bolognese version.

Marvelous. Two of my favorite TH-cam chefs. I think the addition of the Asian herbs. Star Anise and Gochujang is really an outstanding addition flavor-wise. I’m impressed. I’m going to have to try making this one pot lasagna to see what my Japanese and American Family of Eaters thinks. ❤
